How did Brock look against the same team? 2) Brock has had the benefit of a more stable, better coaching staff on both sides of the ball. 3) The eagles won just 3 games right before their fired head coach Doug Pederson threw Jalen in to take over for Carson Wentz to seal their 4th win. After they made Jalen the starter, they went to the playoffs every year since, even with the revolving door of coordinators. How many wins did the 9ers have right before they made Brock the starter? Listen, I like Brock, I really do, but it seems like Brocks a plug and play guy in that system. Jalen isn't. We've seen QBs win in that Shanahan system. We've had 0 wins when Jalen has been absent.

The reason Dak wins so many regular season games is the Cowboys have the most (or second most) pro bowlers on their roster. In the playoffs, good teams make your weakest link beat you. I get that he’s made pro bowls and had some good regular seasons but Dak gets to touch the ball every play. In terms of “usage rate” compared to the rest of the pro bowl caliber players on Dallas, I think he’s their weakest link come playoff time. The Cowboys would be better off with a low ego game manager QB who accepts that “game manager” label instead of trying to prove everyone wrong and ends up throwing INTs from doing too much.

Purdy couldn't make the wide open TD throws in the super bowl to win the game. Statistically he actually isn't that great in the playoffs. Jimmy G took that team to a Super Bowl and multiple NFC Championship games and that was before CMC was in the backfield. That team is stacked as soon as Jimmy G left he instantly was one of the worst QBs in the league in LV to where he got benched. Let's see how Purdy is when he's paid and some of that core needs to go out the door before crowning him.

I would say for me, coaching makes a big difference come postseason time. Jason Garrett and Mike McCarthy don't really move me as difference making coaches. I would like to see Dak with someone like Shanahan or Reid if he is this productive with Garrett, Moore, and McCarthy.... I know McCarthy is a SB winner and that can never be taken away from him but let's not forget he did have Aaron Rodgers the rest of those seasons in Green Bay and A Rod came up short in big games after that SB run. When i watch Dak i see a top 10 level nfl qb and that was pretty clear to me even during his first season as a starter. You know sometimes it just takes that one or two magical seasons. We have seen qbs get to the SB and even win the SB, who were not as talented or as good as Dak. The team has to get on a run and sometimes the team has to overcome a weak or even poor postseason game from the starting qb. I think The Cowboys would be foolish to part ways with Dak Prescott. Go get Bill Belichick if McCarthy has another early postseason exit and give Bill 3-5 years with Dak....
