The Point everyone is forgetting is Bucky Brooks also said that Aaron doesn't make the smart throws. Aaron could sometimes throw for 5 yards for example but he decides to throw it away and get a new chance for more yards then just 5. @@u-law2499 I think that Ben has a longer leash than Russell, and the thing he does with it is turn the ball over. I judge QB's by efficiency, and there is no comparison. Russell is also a Super Bowl Champ. He is progressively getting better, and I expect him to put up higher yardage numbers as his career progresses and he gets more free reign. Real talk, Russell Wilson is better than Drew Brees except for the 2018 season. People seem to forget that Brees is historically interception prone, but 2018 was an aberration. Brees throws for a lot of yards, but he will lose games by throwing picks.

I like how Skip talks about throw aways as if they're improving Aaron Rodgers' stats. A throw-away counts as an incompletion, which affects his completion percentage, quarterback rating and QBR. The defense finished 12th in yards allowed and they were 22 in points allowed. So, if the defense can give up fewer points, improve their red zone defense, and stay at near the top in points allowed as well as yards allowed. Aaron Rodgers can win a couple more rings. They upgraded the pass rush bringing in Rashan Gary, Keke Kingsley from Texas A&m, Zadarius Smith, and Preston Smith. They have a very solid defensive line with Kenny Clark, Dean Lowery, and etc. The secondary especially if Kevin King can stay healthy the secondary has the potential to be one of the best in the league. They also upgraded the safety position with Darnell Savage, they brought in Adrian Amos, and they still have Josh Jones who needs to realize that a lot of teams use three safeties now in various packages and he can still be an integral player in the defense. The Packers also have a very capable, talented, skilled and solid running game with Aaron Jones who averaged 5.5 yards per carry and he was a big play every time he got the ball which wasn't very often. And Jamal Williams has shown that he can also make plays when given an opportunity. But, he has to average more than 3.8 yards per carry. I feel like with Nathaniel Hackett coming over from the Jacksonville jaguars he had a great deal of success there so, he should help the running game tremendously.

They were the second worst defense but they only allowed 30 points once that season but the offense was 27th in time possession that season so that had something to with it and they only gave up 17 points per game in the postseason.New England even won the AFC Championship game where Brady had 0 passing touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Aaron Rogers has always been the same guy. The only difference now is that he gets hurt all the time and he isn’t as fast as he was. AR has always been lazy, relying on his arm talent , and he has never been particularly good at reading defenses. He doesn’t make anybody better around him and never has. Heck, I can name 5 QB’s in the NFC alone that I would rather have, much less the whole league.
