2:08 Shannon is so wrong lmao, Russ has had 4 seasons below the fg% he shot this year, and 2 seasons below the 3 pt % he shot this year. And yet no one was hating on him till now. I just don’t get it. AND he said he was a ball hog, which is why he’s averaged 10 assists for the last 4 seasons and has lead the league in 2 of those seasons.

give any pg in the league 35 shots a game, let them grab all the defensive rebounds and shoot every time they pass, they would all average a triple double tbh

Who cares what he avg for the season when he can’t get past the first round. Sure it’s cool to avg a triple double but bring that to the playoffs and give your city some wins.Jesus Christ Russ smfh

It's not "cool" to average a triple double, it's historic. It means the guy is doing EVERYTHING he can to win EVERY NIGHT. He knows his shooting isn't good, but he plays hard doing everything else. OKC record is 97- 28 when he gets a triple double. He's brought us quite a few wins over the past 4 years.

vandermixon ok. So you are clearly saying stats are a reflection of effort. So, can you then explain to me how he plays so HARD with everything else when his defensive numbers are terrible? He is not a good defensive player. Those who defend him in the media have even stated that he has the ability the be a great defensive player( he was a defensive STAR coming into the league) but he doesn’t do it. That directly implies a lack of effort on the defensive end. How can he play hard if he doesn’t give it his all on the defensive side?!? Like seriously. Can you explain that!? And I don’t want to hear the stats don’t tell the whole story from you because you clearly think that his counting numbers are what you go off. Also, if he knows his shooting isn’t good, like if he is truly aware that he is the worst volume shooter in NbA history, why does he continue to finish at the top of the league, or top 5, in shots per game? Lol like what? It’s just not logical. I have nothing against him. I also saw something in Houston that was great! But when you made this comment, can you defend your points?

Broussard just trying to justify voting for Russ' MVP. His response was proof that he chases TDs. He'd like to see someone else try it but better players are trying to win not get TDs.

Team record when Westbrook completes a TD is 100% irrelevant. The issue is the team success when he *chases* a TD. So far since he began chasing triple doubles they haven't made it out of the first round. GS wins when Draymond gets a TD. They would not win as much overall if their gameplan involved Draymond *CHASING* TDs.
