UNDP-EU partnership: how the EU is helping Kyrgyzstan tackle uranium legacy

We are celebrating the achievements of the UNDP-EU partnership under #UNDPEUpartnership20 Campaign.
Our cooperation has a long-term effect in solving uranium legacy problems in Kyrgyzstan.
We have turned the following programs into reality among common projects, that are:
raising awareness among citizens about the danger of uranium tailings,
supporting local initiatives by financing small grants and investments,
increasing the capacity of local authorities and population,
supporting the socio-economic vector of local communities' development.
