That was an excellent documentary. Having watched the one on the Edmund Fitzgerald, we watched this one, and these Dive Detectives do a very good job. It was nice to see the son get some closure, and such a damn shame his father never got to see the boat found. By the way, to all those accent police. We're British, and a good program is a good program. Get a life.

I just watched investigation of Edmond Fitzgerald and they built a simulator of being in the wheelhouse. Omg. I would have a bad panic attack and probably faint!!! I can’t imagine being in a submarine ever!!!! 😮

@@debiO1960 So did we, then watched this one. That simulator was awful. We never knew there was such a thing for ships. You only ever hear about flight simulators.

The instant I heard an american accent - I stopped the video. An american documentary means the content is BS and could be dealt with in 7.5 minutes - but will be stretched out to 47 minutes through utterly mind-numbing repetitive hyper-reiteration. Most importantly, it means I will have to listen to unnecessary hype, then more unnecessary hype - leading finally to a condition known as global-viewer onset hyper nausea, caused by excessive listening to american hyper-verbosity.

If you watch through to 26:00, see if you can spot the difference in the accents as one American (the son of a Navy vet) speaks to three Canadians (Fletcher father & son and the side scan sonar technician).
