I thought the same thing. I was a cool tone only gal for most of my twenties. I felt weird putting any warm shades on my eyes until I decided to just do it and then wash it off and then try again and then wash it off and I did this for a few weeks and eventually I found a color combo that just blew me away and now I am a color equal opportunist hahahahaa
