You'll see the detective played by Dmitry Oksen again if you check out some of their older videos. He played rhythm guitar when they were a 5 member group and was the last original member of Jinjer. He'll be in any official music videos from Cloud Factory and earlier videos (most of the 'official live' from Cloud Factory, they rewrote to an extent after they dropped to 4 members). He left to pursue an acting career, so nice of him to come back to help out on a video with them. Honestly I'm happy he and the current members are still on good terms. If you want to see him with the band, one of my favorite old Jinjer tracks is "Scissors".

During an interview on a Ukrainian media channel they were interviewed by host, who was also an ex-prosecutor, on his TV show who basically set them up and verbally attacked Tatiana and Eugene on their political views of Ukraine and Russia and, they believed, how their life was good in the 80's as young kids under Russia, this caused a backlash which later branded them as un-patriot Ukranians in the media. It bothered Tatiana, so much, for three days after, so this song and video is their reply to that interview and their media.

for you: What have the artists said about the song? Tati Shmailyuk: Me and Eugene did an interview with a guy who used to work for Ukrainian television, and now he has his KZbin channel. He turned every question into a political topic. And of course, in Ukraine, this is a very painful situation. I was so angry and pissed off with this dude because he asked so many provocative questions. It showed us in a very bad light, but that’s what he wanted. For three days after, I was carrying this heavy emotion in my heart. That’s why I did this song with the exclamatory, like ‘teacher, teacher!’ because it makes it more intense.

I love Disclosure! Always love Jinjer! One thing I read about this one is that it's really important when Tatiana shows her Ukrainian passport, like the band is saying to critics who call them unpatriotic, "yes, we're still Ukrainian even though we disagree about some things" (I think it's pretty horrifying that the US helped a neonazi militia to be incorporated into the Ukrainian military, our fascism begets fascism worldwide). Great reaction, thank you! ❤🖤🤘

not an expert but my understanding is claims will happen, which is why everyone in this space that wants to make money doing it uses some other form of monetization like Patreon etc. Strikes are up to whether the copyright holders still think it's 1990 or know it's 2021. Cheers!

Have you being seeing the ads pop up from that body oil company? An online American company, because of course it has to be American, is using the name Jinjer to pimp their body oils. I've been getting bombarded with them the last day or two. I'm wondering if they are the one behind the copyright claims. I don't think the band is aware someone is using their name. I left a comment on one of their ads asking when the Slipknot Soap is coming

Two vintage Jinjer videos maybe rotate with gaming Outlander the failure color version and Just Another OMV heavy heavy breakdowns.Pause and comment but generally Jinjer is cool with reactions. The video volume was a bit low

Such a banger 🔥Have you really received copyright claims for Jinjer videos as well? It seems to be one of the less problematic bands when it comes to reaction channels in general.

Also this video doesn't go with lyrics well. This song is about an interview that really pissed them the fuck off

I love this song and video. It's very subjective. I love their latest album, and so do most of the Jinjer fans I've seen, but I understand it's not for everyone and I'd add that for me, for some Jinjer songs, I didn't follow all of the complexity on the first listen, but I usually end up liking those songs more than ones I liked immediately because it's somehow very satisfying once the complexity clicks for me. I still keep every Jinjer song on my playlist and still love each one more every time I hear it.
