Hi Tiffany, I'm a emerging product photographer and I'm also new to strobe lighting; my mentor who (is a 33-year pro photographer) recommended that I use a handheld light meter instead of going by the one inside the camera. I have found it to be very helpful in lighting my photos.

Oh this is good advice, thank you! I’ve always been curious about using one of those, I’ll look into it :)

Congratulations with your decision to start working with flash/strobe. Once you learn you will never regret - I promise 🙌 Of course a learning curve in the beginning but soon suddenly you get it and it seems quite simple yet elevates your images quite a lot 🤩 Your "Musings" seems like such a great idea - I will check it out 🤓 Do you by any chance have a recipe for the meal you crate at 10:00? It looks so delicious and I would lov to try 🫶 Great idea to use Pinterest more. I would love to as well since I have never shared any of my images there. Do you have any advice on how/what to keep in mind when using Pinterest to attract clients? Thanks in advance 🌱

Thanks Susanne!! Strobe/flash definitely has a learning curve but it’s so worth it to learn and I’ve been putting it off for too long now 😅 I’m still brand new to Pinterest in terms of marketing so I honestly have ZERO clue what I’m doing, haha. Right now I’m basically just posting all my work and then creating pins to link back to Musings posts. I’ve been doing some research here and there so if I learn anything or get an idea of what works best I’ll definitely share with you :) Unfortunately, no recipe for the soup. My dad made broth from simmering a lot of pork soup bones for about 2 hours and then added a bunch of vegetables, such as cabbage and carrots.
