Hey, number one fan here! I’m sorry to see a slimmer of what you’re going through and I don’t know exactly how it feels, I can only imagine. What I can tell you though, is the Jane I’ve been watching has and will always be a survivor. You’ve dared to take risks and dared to learn, that’s the luxury of life, and I think you’re amazing at it. You’re going to get what you deserve in one form or another. I hope to see a video of that when that day comes!

Am I the only one who's paranoid about spending money being laid off? It's been since August that I was laid off and like I had about 8k saved up but I've been so scared to spend any of it besides strictly groceries and rent. It lowkey makes it feel like I can't enjoy the time off because everything costs money in the city.

Hi Jane!!! Thank you for sharing your update with us! I'm sorry the job search has been a struggle but love the sentiment that rejection is redirection ❤ definitely a good saying to keep in mind. I remember in a past vid you mentioned an idea for dealing with imposter syndrome was to save kind or positive messages to go back through - that really helped me during my recent job search and is helping me even now in my current role! Maybe that's something that can bring you some happiness and encouragement on really frustrating days. I wish I could do more to help, but for now here's allllll the virtual support :) really hoping you find your next best thing soon!!

Hey Jane, sorry to see that the job search has been a struggle, I've heard that the market in the US is an absolute shitfest at the moment! What has cotinued to help me a lot was utilising ADPlist (which if you haven't heard of, its a platform where you can literally talk with senior designers/directors/leaders for FREE - yes really) while redoing your portfolio I highly recommend setting up a couple of sessions with mentors on there so that you can get direct feedback on specific areas that you might need to work on to make you look like a more appealing candidate. Plus, it's always nice to know that you have the support of others in the industry and hopefully that way it'll help you feel less discouraged and alone in this journey ❤ And yes - rejection IS redirection!! You got this girl ✨
