Why become a Unesco Creative City?

The UNESCO Creative Cities Network brings together 246 member cities from over 80 UNESCO Member States that have invested in culture and creativity as a lever for sustainable urban development.
As part of the 2021 UNESCO Call for Applications, a series of tutorials have been produced to support applicant cities. The current tutorial provides key information on the advantages and benefits of becoming a UNESCO Creative City.
