@@dadadoooo1412 They do translate them, there are many books of just the translations, but the majority of the books are copies of the Quran, but there are books about science, astrology, physics, math, . . . I'm from the Tafilalet Region, which is the largest oasis on earth, and we also have many similar books as those in Timbuktu

Honestly what i noticed first are the camels. I feel sorry them. They looked really tired and overworked. Imagine how hard to carry those stones😢

if Senegal could get an energetic liberator like Traore, a merger with Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso would give the Sahel region access to the sea. they can then route all their trading through Senegal's ports. Timbuktu would be resurrected and the Sahel region would boom again as Sundiata Keita, Mansa Musa and the other African legends intended. I miss the library of Timbuktu. It was magnificent
