He did get a “reward” technically. But it was basically just God restoring everything that was taken from him. That story never sat right with me. It feels more like the devil tricked God into letting him torture one of Gods greatest followers for literally no reason. Yes it shows Job was a man of great character but everyone already knew that which was why he was being “tested” in the first place. Maybe you could say God was setting Job up to set the example for people to follow in the future but I can’t help but think there could’ve been another way lol.

If Trey and Matt had just a tiny bit more biblical knowledge, the episode would have been more interesting.
