How is maneuvering your JB in Allatoona? I’ll be taking a 17ft JB in there this Spring. Trying to find those Catfish stripper spots.

Few years ago, no problem at all. Now you just gotta pay attention to how heavy the boat traffic gets and know when to call it a day. 17fter tho.. I'd say you would be fine until a couple weeks before memorial day. Good luck out there!

I have a 12 ft jon boat and live less than 20 away. Its doable but just be very careful on holidays/weekends!
