Hey Tom. I found your channel few weeks ago and was really encouraged to try your way of fishing with feeding lead (i used korda method feeder) and oats/corn recipe. Before that I was fishing with bait that was already mixed for PVA bags + buying PVA bags, wasnt cheap sport. First impressions... on same day, in 3,5h of fishing I cought 7 carps from 2-5kg! That was in february just after the ice melted on the lake surface.. So I decided no more PVA stuff, just feeder with premade oat/corn food. P.S.: now I need to buy some strawberry sweets to try! :D Thanks for Your content, keep it going! Greetings from Europe!

Looks like I'm now adding fruit gels to my list of carp bait. And I just ordered a 50# bag of rolled oats. Way cheaper than buying the 42 oz boxes at the supermarket.

Great story! Timing is everything as I have been trying to envision an alternative to the tiger nuts and this adds to my list. Looking for that better 'hold up' factor that the nuts give you now. Good music score on the catfish hook ups 😆 and I liked the net camera w/the carp, awesome!!! Looking forward to your '24 spring season vids.

Carp likes sweet stuff in warm waters, sweet corn, jellybons, diped tigernuts, when its cold bites on fish and krill aromas (anything thats smelly)
