If you take a closer look at the S5 auditions, you may notice Skylar stumble a little during hers. I theorise that's why Emily cut her, not arbitrarily and losing the former dance captain for no reason. Let me know if you see it in the audition! :)

By the way, in Season 5 Episode 1 Skylar says that Riley went to business school, so it wasn't only talked about in the Off Season. I feel like some characters deserved better exits, though. Like, where did Beth and Studio B go? And Abi and Noah's relationship wasn't even discussed after Season 3!

The thing I didn't like was up until the end of season 4 each character had a goodbye episode. Afterwards characters just left and other characters just told us that they'd gone. I was really unhappy with them doing that with Amanda as an OG cast member.

Skylar was Noah’s age. It was said in one of the Season 4 episodes, “Don’t Stop Me Now” that she was born in 1999. That means in Season 4, which took place in 2016, Skylar was 17. In Season 6, she would have been 18, like Noah. The only way Gemini could have competed in the Intermediate division would be if Skylar was no longer on the team.
