and this comment was just after the first five minutes of the interview, now after seeing the full interview, I can confirm that he has shocked the fak out of me, with such deep gyan, life lessons, and awesome one liners. So not meeting new people regularly in life (to hopefully discover people like Sudhir Mishra) is another addition to my FOMO list, Thanks Samdhish.

@@danishtanha007 Few lines that I found interesting, 1) light at the end of a tunnel is usually another training coming towards you. 2) it's not that you have to be at the right place at the right time, You have to be at the right place all the time, and maybe you might get the ball. 3) two things are finite, time and your energy, channel it towards the right thing. 4) he tells his incident with kurosawa in Japan, if you can't convince a producer with one story, as a story teller you must have 20 more to get him. You can extrapolate this to many fields 5) Hero waqt ka naam hai... Also, he mentions zizek briefly as his favorite philosopher... I've heard his talks, he's absolutely crazy, it takes too much effort to understand zizek. Look him up..

Samdish's natural casual approach in conversation with Sudesh Mishra elicited a lot of life's lessons. Finite time and finite energy in this short life. This sentence sums up a lot of motivation to remain focused on finding your water. His belief in approaching life like it would be a cauldron of disappointments by giving the analogy of a football center-forward who needs to be present in the right place at the right time, all of the time and yet achieve a handful of goals is the truth of life. This interview could easily prepare, teach and motivate a person to move ahead with renewed strength despite disappointments in life. The regrets that one might have and the Will to live longer to accomplish more rather than pity oneself due to small defeats, is all encompassed in this beautiful narrative. Thoroughly enjoyed and will forever be indelibly etched in my memory. Thank you, both of you.

I have only watched 'Jaane bhi do yaaron' from his filmography but there's an interesting element in the climax,wo film maine beech me se dekhi but somehow I understood the plot, almost boring lag rahi thi par phir bhi involved tha ,jab theatre play wala scene aaya to wo thoda slapstick tha but nazarein phir bhi nahi hat rahi thi screen se kyunki jo sab stage par ho raha wo uss time ke liye kaafi unique tha (abhi bhi😉) But jaise hi climax mein Wo transition aaya jaha par dono photographers ko jail ki uniform me dikhaya hai waha par maine socha ki in general Audience movie par hansti hai lekin kabhi kabhi Movie bhi Audience par hansti hai and that last scene is one of them because the photographers are actually none other than most of the audience watching it.

In first 10 minutes itself I find that Samdish was not at all prepared for this energy ... rather overwhelmed. But the energy of the filmmaker is already making this the best video Samdish has done so far. I am going to watch this 4 times at least. Old Monk leke baithunga shaam ko.

The beautiful thing about the interview is an evolved conversation template that Samdish shows us in each of his trysts.. and the fact that he blends it with a lot of “hearing” and informed “interjection” is such a pleasant change !!

The Swan by Rainer Maria Rilke This laboring of ours with all that remains undone, as if still bound to it, is like the lumbering gait of the swan. And then our dying-releasing ourselves from the very ground on which we stood is like the way he hesitantly lowers himself into the water. It gently receives him, and, gladly yielding, flows back beneath him, as wave follows wave, while he, now wholly serene and sure, with regal composure, allows himself to glide.

Probably the best interview of this podcast.. there were a couple of moments when @Samdhish should have just kept quiet. When Sudhir Mishra speaks...just listen.

One of the best interviews you've ever taken to this day. It was like you both locked in the conversation with the same frequency. Loved it

am waiting to see samdish bhatia interview a classical musician, particularly, T.M.Krishn or Kushiki Chakravaraty. It is very difficult to crack a classical musician out of his or her zone but I have immense faith on his abilities.

There is so much to process in this interview. I watched so many things by going backwards and processing them and understanding the beauty of it .( Ex: 1- Use of "Bawra man" ki title pe gaana aapko rok deta hai, majboor kar deta hai ek baar aur film apne deemag mai dekhne ko., 2- Swan poem by Rilke ; we have to find the water where we can show the grace. and so many). It was a very wonderful experience to see the interview. Thanks Samdish and team for this one, enjoyed every bit of it.😊❤️. PS: If you could show us one or more "Natak"/ "Stage show"/"Theater show" it would be very nice of you to introduce the audience about the beauty of it. Maybe some series of it or anything. 😊
