My grandmother had cancer, she didn't survive, it fills my heart with joy whenever I see anyone who has survived... It's so painful to see someone whom you love the most degrading and dying infront of your own eyes, hence I can understand the joy when someone survives..may god bless you 🙏 thanks for this interview..

One thing is for sure, Samdish is the catalyst for these interviews, without a person like him the whole interview could have been a normal flat interview. Most of the interviews we see with directors or stars is when they need to promote their movie. But here Samdish is genuinely having a conversation with the guest. Amazing Interview !

I had a privilege to watch him direct Life in a Metro when he was shooting in the call centre in Kamla Mills in Lower Parel where I used to work. I was very awestruck then and still am with the way the films are shot (the cameras/boom mics/monitors/lighting/trolleys/rigs)...i can spend entire day in a film set just watching how films are shot it's so fascinating.

To Samdish, Only if the country had more journalists like you, so free, so open, so natural, so one-to-one in a sense, this polarisation that all of us are bothered by, would be so much more observable and people would recognise the fact that this is not right. Keep up the good work. Keep sharing your opinions. May we all become more inclusive, more tolerant and more open to perspectives. A fan. ♥️

What a solid man! Fought with death and came back. Everyone who did anything to save Anurag's life deserves thanks because what a fantastic gifted person he has turned out to become. I think part of the directness and humility comes from that struggle and facing death and near-bankruptcy at the same time, for months. Working in that state is a truly huge personal struggle for anyone. Yeh hai asli mard.

You know what's the example of a best interview? One that you cannot get enough of. This one is an epitome of that skill. Long live Basu ji, Samdish is scripting a history for many upcoming people with vision. This guy is setting the bar quite high.

Interviewers and Journalists around the world should use Unfiltered by Samdish series as a Text book. The guy actually wants to listen to what the guest is saying. He is not putting words in others' mouth. Not running a propaganda... So candid, detailed, emotional, funny..... because its genuine.... Unfiltered. Really appreciate the efforts. Going on to patreon right now. Anurag sir ke to bohot fans hai, par yeh interview dekhne ke baad, yeh director.... Bohoton ke Hero ban jaayenge. Lot for respect sir. God bless you and your family with good health and help you find your voice. :)

its especially wonderful at the end where he asks whether u prefer groundreports or interviews; really sort of shows the genuine curiosity storytellers tend to have towards people and how they really want to listen and know things. really beautiful !!

The fact that anurag basu says he is still looking for his directorial voice gives me hope. I somehow always believe that fixity will make creative spirit stagnant.
