Enjoyed hearing you speak! You brought something new and interesting, cause as it was getting pretty repetitive with so many podcasts about boundaries brown parents. One feedback for Wajeeh is that I get he’s your boy and we all talk a certain way with our friends but the amount of times you said “my brother” was a bit jarring lol. I’m sure that you say it a lot when you’re with him but for the podcast it was ruining the flow a bit. But overall great episode!

As a pakistani, it always takes me by surprised by indian, bengali and afghani hate...like I cannot hate anyone, my parents never cussed other countries or races, I never heard cousins or aunties or pakistan community generally very chilled when it comes to other countries...

@@VintageVoid3 I am british pakistani, usually in urdu/punjabi we use the term afghani or pathan to refer to Afghan people or Pushtun people from peshawar....it may not be the way the Afghans call themselves but now the way pakistanis refer to them. We call like English people Angalazi or Britani or we call Americans, Ameriki etc In uk, people call pakistanis as pakistanis but in America some people call pakistanis as pakistanian...its all inaccurate but now its entered the language...so thats why I call by default afghanis as Afghani

Loved today's episode and I feel like we need another 2 episodes. one going more in depth about sawagadiddy's childhood and growing up as an immigrant in the US and a second about sawagadiddy the psychologist and his views on the new generation of kids and second generation immigrants in the US. overall I enjoyed the chemistry between you guys and could listen to more of it. God bless!

I met my husband through Dawah circles, I befriended allot religioys aunties and they passed rishta to my mum...my best friend who was mother of a friend owned a islamic bookshop and my future hubby who hafiz imam used to talk to her allot and she felt we should meet, referred him my mum, my mum loved him and told me about him and thats how we met at my house....he walked in and I dropped all my questions and just felt he the one....I just felt at ease around him which is very very very rare, as I very introverted and more on the strict side of religious spectrum, not easy around males

Get him on again, he changed it up and I loved it! Also I wish he gave more pushback during the first question. I think the resentment some Afghans have is with the Pakistani people who do agree with the government. In terms of Pakistan taking in more Afghans than any other country, conflicts in Afghanistan create refugees, which in turn creates profit for Pakistan. Pakistan gets millions of dollars to take these refugees in. Also the "crime was increased" theory is baseless to justify the mass expulsion. But there's a lot

I feel Wajeeh is very giving and knows his duty as a son. I mean it's very rare for sons to love and respect their parents the way you show it, not just by buying your parents a house and giving your first wages, but you've never been embarrassed having a mother who's cultural in terms of clothing appearance etc, i mean you took her to the red carpets to meet Ian 😂. I think what Ahmed did, leaving your parents and not giving back has probably put some resentment and anger in you, which your mum should understand. Sometimes when your mum latches too much, she should realise it may make you detach from her and your family more.

It’s wrong to assume that a mother is texting her son because she is only worried that he may do something wrong . A lot of mothers text their kids to try to find out if they are safe or to simply communicate with them as they enjoy their company and miss them when they are outside the home etc. الحَمدُ لله . Many mothers text their kids because they care. الحَمدُ لله . We should respect our elders.

At 55:00 the brother is talking about naseeb, and that let it happen on its own terms, but this is tantamount to saying, Allâh has written my naseeb in terms of money, so I’m not gonna try and earn it and instead wait for it until it knocks on my door. Allah loves those who try and strive, it’s not enough saying Insha’allāh and then doing nothing. The bird goes out in the early morning, and returns full and satisfied. You want marriage, you have to pursue it. May Allah bless y’all. ❤️🤲🏻

Pakistan took in refugees during the 80s via the US aid money that went through them. The hatrd stems from back then. The US funded the mujhadeen using Pak as a syphon. You really think Pakistan gave all the aid money to the Afghans and didn’t keep a majority for their own benefit? Wajeeh saying they took in refugees nonchalantly without knowing the historical context is tone deaf. If you’re gonna debate on topics like this you need to do accurate research.

Afghan Pakistani here. Yes my kind exist. Absolutely hate the Pakistani government. Love the ideology Pakistan was formed on. I don't expect American Afghans or Pakistanis to know much about deep politics, history and social dynamics but what happened to our Afghan people is a big crime. Y'all don't have the clarity or full picture of the truth so I understand. The diaspora are very different from us who live in the countries. 1.7 million hard working Muslims were forcefully evicted by shameless American puppet establishment of Pak on the command of Americans which is literally against Pakistans ideology. Any Pakistani ordinary or Afghan including me who justifies this unislamic disgusting act is complicit. 🏳️🇦🇫♥️🇵🇰

On the fact of why is there hate for pakistan. In short: You mention Pakistanis took them in - That was with a huge reward financially from the UN.. it was a lucrative business decision. Onto why they hate - so Pakistan gov have been meddling from both sides in Afghanistan for since post soviet era… Pakistan created taliban via the ISI in benazirs era. They propped them up, educated them in their madrassas etc… that pissed off a big chunk of the Afghans in itself. To make matters worse when america went against Taliban, and one would expect pakistan to show solidarity and support for the same Taliban they created… in actuality they decided to fully back the Americans and were the key ally in their war against the Taliban… so here they pissed off the more conservative afghans and those with the Taliban. On top of this the ammount of racism that afghans face in pakistan… you eluded to it yourself all the crimes etc gets blamed on them etc… So there is no suprise that there is hate.. what should have been a brotherly nation showed no support in tough times and played double games for its own interest…. No suprise as Pakistan did even worse with the people of Bangladesh in the 70s. Ps - I am Pakistani myself

@@misbahailia3345 I agree. Just in our traditional society men work. Leave house at 7/8 and come home late evening. Mostly kids are with their mothers. No offence intended. I’m a single mum of 3 myself. But I know if I’m home and husband is working and not at home. It’s my responsibility. When he is home shared responsibility.
