Camera cover button on some cases can impact the actual button when dropped.

I also prefer the design of the old Civilian, but one of the possibilities for them to change the design might be to improve the durability. That's what you mentioned in your video about the hardening of the bezel. I had to buy a Metropolis LT to solve this problem because the bezel would separate from the backplate after 6 months of use on the old Civilian.

I can imagine! As far as clear cases go, from my experience at least, the softer and more flexible it is, the faster it will yellow. Difficult to recommend one. I am currently checking out Magbak clear case too, that one feels very refined but not sure about the yellowing

the monarch does leave an imprint especially at the port below after a long usage they should add a flap or stronger magnet for the price point it is kinda a useless case to purchase no built in kick stand slightly weak magnet

UAG is my go to however had to hold off because of camera button cut out in the case.

I have consistently purchased UAG products in the past, however, I will no longer be doing so as of this year. UAG cases are expensive and do not last long, whereas Supcase UB Mag XT cases are more affordable and have demonstrated durability over an 8-month period. As I have two S24 Ultra devices, I am able to make a direct comparison between the two brands. Moving forward, I will exclusively purchase Supcase cases.

@@Unfilterd I kinda like the one you showed in this video a bit more than the one I got. Mainly because the sides of yours are slightly transparent. I got the black/clear, so I can’t see the side colors of mine. The grip is nice to have, but not super comfortable to hold. I agree with the steep angle in landscape mode though.

I like the UAG cases for the feel and look but they’re really overpriced. I cant fully trust the drop protection they claim either, for example the Monarch Pro the corners are rigid but there isnt any TPE for shock absorbtion and the inside, hexagon pattern feels like its there for design than actual air pockets for protection.

I had the UAG monarch for my s10 and the UAG plasma for my 12 mini and 13 pro. But, I must say, I now find them boring. They make the same looking bulky designs year after year. I actually got the 13 pro because of their green plasma case as it is my favorite color, but beyond that they're just so boring and ugly.

No dedicated camera button….Who gives a shit about the camera button,I’d rather have my screen and camera lenses protected over a stupid fucking button….If you drop your phone with these cases on the case will touch the floor before the button does….Go get an Apple silicon case with the button cover but the case has no good screen or camera protection😑Maybe you dummies should think about that
