I love the Muspelheim, just also had to do 5 Rounds in it for crafting materials in the end :D, but at least it's not Niflheim. If you are looking to complete the game and gear in your time later, definitly get the Shattered Gauntled upgraded and check out a wiki to see what enchantments you can put in it, it's great. Congrats on getting Tyr's Shard! Worth the sidequest.

You've no idea how rage inducing those challenges can be at the hardest difficulty.

Even in these side questions, there are story elements that are important or at least give a lot of flavour to the characters and the worlds in which they travel, so while this for some seems an irritating deviation from the main plot, these subplots or side quests give a lot more than just what it seems.

in Ragnarok you'll find a more compassive Kratos, older, wiser, with Atreus grown up but still dont' meess up with Kraos xD

Without the need to tell, you probably know that you need to be able to heal for 100 Enemies challenge. hint: the enchantments you equipped earlier. Secondly, you probably want to take a look at your skill tree to overcome enemies with shield. Finally, even IF you crafted armor from Muspelheim, it is a MANDATORY to craft armor from Niflheim. Both share the same resources. And you won't be able to farm more resources if you cannot pass the final challenge in Muspelheim. Meaning you will stuck at that level.

Tip: you can open the fast travel door and close it to gain full health and rage. You're going into the rift fight handicapped with no rage or res stone.

FYI all armor and weapons can be upgraded to level 10 the real purpose of the gear itself is the slots and perks to gear your gear and armor are an average of the level of all your gear so if you have 3 lvl 3 peices and 2 lvl 4 your average will be a 3
