Do you check the moon phases before you go sheepshead fishing I tend to catch more big sheepshead close to the new moon than any other time

I look at the solunar table, which is based on the moon location. Full moon and new moon are peak times...

I’m learning so much from your videos. Thank you! I’ve never caught a or eaten sheepshead, so that’s 1 of my goals this week on vacation in AB. Question based on Right Time, Place, and Bait doctrine… Do you focus on the Major Times on the lunar forecasts on Good-Best days, regardless of tide? Tide can rip pretty good through the AB & Morehead sound, and I want to make the most of my kayak fishing this week. I have to also account for wind 😂. Looking at Wind, tide, lunar, and weather forecasts… I might need to start plotting all these variables on a graph 😂.

Best bite can be associated with the Solunar times and tides, but this time of year early and late is best with the heat of the day being difficult. Be careful out there in a kayak. It’s dangerous with all the boat traffic. Good luck!
