At the end of the Tsuen Wan Line, Tsuen King Circuit, with a population of more than 43,000 people, has two turn-back tracks downstairs only for trains leaving the depot and returning to the depot. Originally, it was planned to set up a "Tsuen Wan West Station" at the end of the mainline at Tsuen King Garden on the Tsuen Wan Line (not today's Tsuen Wan West Station on the Tuen Ma Line). Why do residents of Tsuen King Wai still have to wait for buses and minibus until 2022?
In the third episode of the "Unfinished Line" series, we will introduce the history of railway service development in Tsuen King Circuit.
