This is a bit of a strange one. The video features two games that are both currently in development by the same dev - UNFOLLOW and FOLLOW. UNFOLLOW will be the first game in the series, but FOLLOW is the prequel to UNFOLLOW. Sorry if that's a little hard to follow! :)

Didn't George Lucas begin Star Wars with episode IV? Anyways, at least it makes sense to begin with follow, and end with unfollow. You can't unfollow if you haven't first followed. If you tried that, it would be akin to a stack underflow--and that is a scary situation!

Wow, I put this video on the backburner to watch and I am hating myself. This is amazing! Early Sphere hunter reference, so many references in this game, thick, ,THICK symbolism, and the fact the protagonist is hot and in underwear proves to be both unsettling and makes you feel more vulnerable. Love the start! The optical illusions are great, with the shadow over a painting, the hallway right after you enter that looks like a red eyed monster, The way the area looks like it could be kitbashed assets, but is done so well and is a master class a prop usage. At times feels like when you see something, it's something important, it's something that stabs you with a meaning. If it's put somewhere, it means something. It's not just a spooky hospital, it's like an ugly reflection you can't look away from. Even the meta stuff and self aware commentary from the furies, the peanut gallery, is meant to put you down, make everything feel worse, and it's great! The fact the phone is the weapon, the tutorial, the social media references to popular social media people, you can't escape social media even as it hurts you, this game does waaay better than most where it's like "Oh no, people I know and live near are mean to me, but on the internet!" where this is right on with nameless, no profile pic12314124124 jerks just chiming in to be a dick at your lowest moment and maybe one nice helpful person, but also focusing on how you feel motivated by likes or followers- but also end up losing agency to that dopamine hit.

I remember this game! It was originally a game where you explored a house and it featured Akidearest and Joey Bizinger. The demo was available up until about a year ago. This game is different but the overall theme of Anne succumbing to bullying is still there and there are a lot of recycled ideas (the giant head-snake is from that demo, you have to feed it spaghetti.)

It's got a bit of a heavy handed approach when it comes to the character's back story. I mean, we can literally hear the kids teasing her in a flash back style, there's no subtly to it. Don't know why it irks me compared to other games, but it does.

So I don't know how I feel about these games/devs? I think the production value is great, definitely cool (and untapped) potential in its themes that haven't been explored much or at all in video games. I believe the talent is there, but.. I guess this just isn't a game for me. It sorta feels like it's really kind-of banking on the fact that it has big "Influencer"-easter eggs. Maybe the full game'll come out and it'll be a fantastic little indie horror game, and I am keeping my eyes on it, but some of the beats are just very 'Silent Hill: The Message'. Not to mention the 'Game' portion itself is mediocre. I do wanna say, I love the monster designs though.

The only thing that was confusing about the video is that the starting marker for Unfollow was actually a couple minutes into the game so I think you should pull it back to the point where the game really starts.

It's not a good idea to eat brain. If the animal had prion disease, that's where the highest concentration is. Plus that recipe is just plain uninspired. Also, I don't think brain qualifies as meat. Not 100% on that, though--culinary labels get pretty loose when it comes to organ tissue.
