muharaam is islamic month ,these people are shia Muslim's doing mourning ceremony for imam Hussain one of shia imam and (as) grandson of Prophet Muhammad's who was martyred in battle of karbala with his family members and companions inculding his 6 month old child. they are doing the ceremony by their own customs like playing drums and reciting. it's also happen in india every year and largest gathering happens in iraq karabala

@@gaganpatil7236 yes, Hussaini Brahmins also fought along the imwm Hussain in Karbala and died along with them. Even today Hussaini Brahmins celebrate Muharram. In my village during Muharram my grandmother used to make a special kind of sweets to give to kids participating in the procession. And we also used to worship the tazia. It was wonderful memories of my childhood. 🤣
