Grappig hoe de lijn tussen zwolle en Wierden gemaakt is voor 140 maar enkel spoor is terwijl de lijn Deventer Almelo maar 130 is. Ook vind ik het leuk dat Henlo-Enschede/Oldenzaal 125km/u als baanvaksnelheid heeft, is ook weer uniek

I often take my bike on the train & this is definitely my favourite train when I do so. NS seem to have rationalised the use of the different train types. On the route Zwolle- Rosendaal I now almost only see VIRM trains. Previously I saw DDZ, Koploper & VIRM trains.

Hey, haven't seen this one for a while. Interesting it's a DDZ and not an ICM; your previous full video of it was in the ICM (and of course who doesn't love the view from that cab 😁). Speaking of which, I may repeat an unusual tale as to how I got to sit in the rear-most cab of an ICM while travelling the approximately 25 minute gap between two stops back in 2018 if anyone reads this and is interested (yes, I rode in the driver's cab at the rear for a while!!). I've caught that train from Schiphol about half a dozen times over the past 10 years when I visit from Australia, and it's always been the ICM. As an aside, the train I've caught always left Schiphol at 7:35AM (flight arrived 6:20AM), which on one occasion resulted in a 41 degree C temperature difference between when I left home (+39C) and arrived at Schiphol (-2C) 😲🤣. Thanks for the video, I hope to make the trip again in the next year or two. Hope all's well with you and your loved ones. Cheers

@@steeltrap3800 All resistor-ICM's (4011-4049) have been put aside, and some have been scrapped. Set 4011 has been saved by the Railway Museum Maliebaan. Opmerkeijk dat je zegt dat de DDZ zo'n comfortabele trein is. Bij een video van een collega (ik weet niet meer welke) die ook eens met dit materieel reed had ik opgemerkt dat de nieuwe stoptreinen veel stiller waren dan de DDZ. Dit bevestigde hij, en zei zelfs dat hij in een DDZ altijd geluiddempende oordoppen in deed. Ik kan me nog goed de eerste keer herinneren dat ik dit materieel zag. Ik werkte in 1998 in een kantoor naast station Zwijndrecht, met uitzicht op het spoor. Op een dag kwam er zo'n DDm voorbij en ik zei iets in de trant van: Zag ik nou net een DD-AR zonder locomotief voorbij komen?. Ik wist helemaal niet dat ze die DD-AR vloot hadden uitgebreid met motorwagens.

Met comfort bedoel ik altijd het veercomfort. De reizigerszitplaatsen zijn ook veel beter dan de moderne sprinters. Geluid in de cabine is inderdaad veel te hard, dus oordoppen in ja.

Af en toe een schorre conducteur ;-) maar wat mij opvalt als je boven de 120 km gaat rijden komt er een zeer irritante fluittoon naar boven dus de speaker gaat dan op 0,maar verder een schitterende rit dank je wel voor het delen ;-)

De revisie van DDAR naar DDZ toen is mislukt, wat je hoort is luid windgeruis. Helaas kan de machinist de "speaker" dan niet op 0 zetten ;-)
