Met a random guy…. Not even in my unit and we teamed up…we got separated in some town during a crazy fire fight…artillery was falling all around that town….i managed to survive the air strike and I heard a familiar voice…it was my fallen comrade but he was injured and holding on for dear life…. Enemies were swarming from the left and the right and somehow I managed to kill them and protect my friend while a medic rescued him….we all felt the commradery…then a random grenade blew all three of us up….. and I never saw any of them again….. best and most immersive experience I’ve ever had playing a video game in my 33 years of life…thank you HLL

Great gameplay as always :) Btw I saw on Reddit during some discussion that you are against adding the KBSP Wz.38M semi-automatic rifle and the Wz.39 submachine gun to the Polish Faction in HLL. Since you published a video about Polish weapons, I have bought and read a lot of books and materials on this subject, wondering how to balance factions and classes if they are to be historically correct. In my opinion, the best choice for the Automatic Rifleman class would be to add the Chauchat Rifle. The Poles used it in large numbers, converted to the Mauser caliber as the Wz. 15/27 and although it was largely replaced by the RKM Browing wz. 28 was used in the September Campaign of 1939. This will also save developers work when they create a French faction and they already have the Chauchat model ready and can also add it to the Auromatic Rifleman role alongside FM 24/29. RKM Browning Wz. 28 could be available for both the Automatic Rifleman and Machine Gunner classes like the BAR on the American side, and the equivalent of the M1919 role could be the MG08/15 which remained in Polish service until the outbreak of the war in large numbers and was designated as LKM wz. 08/15. As for the sniper's role, before the war, tests were carried out with German telescopes (several hundred of which were taken over after World War I) and a batch of about 200 Polish PZO telescopes of two types was produced. There are accounts of the use of scoped rifles in 1939. As for the SMG wz. 39 Mors, about 50 pieces were produced, and in addition, about 100 Thompsons and 200 Suomi were issued from police warehouses, so either the SMG for the Polish faction could not be issued at all, or the Thompson model, which already exists in the game in the British faction, and Suomi, which will have to be created for the Finnish faction which will save developers work. However, in order to be both historically consistent and balanced, a German sub-faction should be created, following the example of the El-alamein map. In such a case, the Germans would not have semi-automatic rifles, although for the Automatic Rifleman role they could have the ZB-26 rifles captured from the Czech Republic or the MG 30 captured in Austria. The German submachine guns could be the MP 28 and MP 38. When it comes to standard rifles, apart from the KBK wz. 29, it could be for auxiliary roles such as Support or Engineer, it could be KBK wz. 91/98/25 which is a shortened Mosin rifle, adapted to the Mauser caliber and a few other visual changes. Sorry for such a long rant but I think about it often and didn't know who to share it with 😅

I also have ambivalent feelings about this (although on the other hand it would be similar in the case of France with SMG MAS 38, where very few of them were delivered before the outbreak of the war). Therefore, to balance the firepower of both sides, the Germans could have the SMG MP 28/38 but no semi-automatic rifles, and the Poles could have no SMGs (if Thompsons or Suomis were not taken into account) but a greater saturation of Wz. 28 and Chauchats (whose rate of fire is low). In turn, the MG-34 for Germany and the MG08/15 would balance both sides in the case of the Machineguner role :)

The Thompson gun isnt that small. The front handle looks tiny. I dont know how the devs did their modelling but it doesnt seem right. Also soldiers usually don't hold this particular gun by the magazine.

You need to account for the recoil and adjust. On PC that means pulling down with your mouse when firing to keep your sights on the target.

Hey to anyone who’s played this and is use to it , is it worth the effort, I’ve only really done a little bit of practice to get use to the feel of the aim and shooting mechanisms etc , seems quite difficult, for me anyways but I’m not that great at any games tbh. I’ve read and heard tho that you really do need to have a mic for this game and you need to be tactical and keep speaking to teammates as just running crazy like in COD will not do well. Yes you need to use your mic and try to work with your squad and team. Teamwork and communication is a big part of this game. Learning the mechanics and getting better at shooting will take practice but if you are using your mic and sticking with your squad you’re doing this right!

It is a very difficult game that takes time to learn, I’d say the best way to learn is not training, go into a real game and use your mic on proximity chat or unit chat and communicate with your team, the player base is super cool and helpful to noobies because we want to see this game be more successful. And look up basic tip videos on it it’ll teach you to think a little more tactical and give you an idea where to go and what to do

Team17 made some mistakes but most of those have been fixed by now. The game is in a very good place in terms of player count - lots of full servers, at least on PC. So yes, I would say the game is still worth buying and trying out!

On PC press shift when aiming down the sight to steady your aim, this also zooms in a little bit. However I often Zoom further when editing the video to show what I’m shooting at. You can’t do this during the game, it is something I do when editing my gameplay footage.

The best roles to play as a new player would be rifleman - just follow your squad and be sure to use your mic or support which is similar to rifleman but you can drop supplies for the squad leader to build garrisons which are important team spawns or you can drop supplies for engineers to build useful stuff like nodes - these are resource generating structures which are needed by the commander.
