My aunt's an engineer there in a factory. We used to visit her once a year. I have beautiful memories of Edirne. With my cousins, we used to pick pine tree seed capsules, pods ( çam koza ) and eat the pine nuts.

Hiya I highly recommend you go to Termal if you haven't already been. It's a small town with amazing thermal water. It's only an hour and a half from Istanbul. You can take a ferry from Istanbul to Yalova, then a bus to Termal.

Persimmons called Trabzon hurmasi" in Turkiye. The fruit slowly dries and the sugar in the fruit comes to the surface, and the fruit flavor concentrates. The outside of the fruit turns white from its own sugar looking a bit like white mold. It's not mold or powder sugar; it is purely the sugar from the fruit itself rising to its surface.

Hello, thank you for your video. Bursa is a beautiful city however its beauty was tainted by concrete eyesores and wrong city plannings. Historical urban areas were not preserved as they should have been. Even Cumalıkızık unfortunately became overly commercialized. (Village area should be kept as an open air museum and souvenir shops and restaurants should be regulated.) As a local, I love wandering around the historical areas of Bursa but I can’t help myself thinking how those areas would look like today if they were preserved properly. Unfortunately what's done cannot be undone. Apart from all the historical and environmental deteriorations of the city, Bursa still has so much to offer. Thank you again, love ❤️ from Bursa.
