Totally agree, there's something magical about a lovely frosty morning in the caravan somewhere. Hopefully the weather will hold out for us going away in a couple of weeks. Looks like a lovely spot. 👍

Thanks for the information James we had this recently developed site earmarked for 2024 never expecting there to be no Wi-Fi / mobile signal. Absolutely no good for Gail who needs to keep an eye on her elderly mother whilst we are away. On another note, I tuck my direct water connection hose under the caravan in lower temperatures and I carry lengths of pipe insulation just in case as we always use all our own onboard facilities. Hope you all had a happy time, Rob & Gail 👍😀

Hi Rob, yes Zero Connectivity, at Clumber park, so would be no good for Gail. Thanks for the tip on the hose, We had a great time thank you. Hope you are well.

We try to base our weekends away around national trust sites. Worth every penny.

Hi, I did check before I started filming. But I must have missed one of the stalls. As I was doing my bit to camera, a guy walked out. He must have wondered what the hell was going on, lol 🤣😂

@CaravanEscapades101 At least, he was quiet as you filmed 😆

Hi Great video wondered what what the site was like We stayed at Sherwood pines site which had similar facilities but more space and in the middle of the forest We drove 15 mins to a lumber park. We are NT members and discuss every year if it’s worth it. With a dog you cannot go into the houses understandably

Hi Thank you for watching, Last time we were at Clumber was about 5 years ago, we have been to Sherwood Pines twice in the last 18 Months, If i had to choose between the 2, it would be Sherwood Pines, but only because the Visitors Centre is closer about 10 minutes walk from the site.
