please please please stop working with bellesa. They're a scam! They have a terrible BBB listing. I've sent you other comments and a message on IG that haven't recieves a response. They offer a free "gift card" or "free toy" but it's actually a free toy if you spend x and its a discount card for x off if you spend x. They also ignored my emails over a month and a half before I finally gave up. They don't actually send out most of their orders, provide no way to cancel an order after you place it and regularly release new toys for preorder that they then never fulfill. It was super disappointing as I got really excited to maybe be able to get a free toy on my super tight disability pension (the thrust, thump and tushi looked super fun!) and then when I tried to reach out to them. I was hoping they would stand by the ad they had pushed by multiple youtubers. It makes me really sad to continue to see you support such a corrupt business despite the fact that I've seen others bring this to your attention as well.

There's also transgender animals in nature. Clown fish can change their biological sex under some circumstances like there not being females present. There's also gender nonconformity all throughout nature such as female lions sometimes having manes and male seahorses giving birth. These phobes don't even know their ass from a hole in the ground when they try to call us unnatural. Nature clearly shows gender, sex, and sexual orientation isn't binary and definitely doesn't fit neatly in their worldview but they always ignore that because they don't prioritize science or education. They only pretend to know what they're talking about like they know anything about science or biology when they want to be transphobic or homophobic.

I literally said out loud “that’s witchcraft” when he was talking about anointing his skincare products. 😂 A lot of them practice witchcraft, but swear that what they do isn’t at all witchcraft because it involves Jesus. I mean, hoodoo involves Jesus and the Bible too, you don’t see those practitioners denying that what they do is magic.
@catelynh10205 ай бұрын
To be fair, witchcraft was pretty normal in biblical times. The only thing non-god-given powers couldn't do was mass killing (if i remember right). Sam(p)son had magical abilities from his hair and went on to kill way more people than is reasonable, and his power was given by god or at least god gave him extra strength again at the end to kill every single person who came to look at him in chains. But the main one i think of is the story of moses. God taught moses tricks that moses then taught his...brother? When they went to the Pharoah with these god given tricks, the men under the pharoah could do the same tricks unless it was about killing. They both turned rods into snakes, but god's snake killed the other ones. I think it was that they were both able to conjure a lot of frogs or insects or something, but only god's power could kill them en mass. It was god's power that make the water unusable, and that went on to kill all the firstborn children whose families didn't kill an animal and smear blood on their doors for protection. It's more the nt that had people doing magic only because they believed in god, and it was really only jesus that did so (but he said you could, too, if you believed enough)
@Yuuteimiya5 ай бұрын
@@catelynh1020nice catch, but imo it's not as common as in other religions? Also imo it's not really similar because it was more of a deity giving the power by deity's choice instead of people asking the deity to give it? Maybe I'm looking into it too much thoXD I just don't actually remember anywhere where god said if you pray a lot you'll be able to do magic stuff. plus, and i might be wrong, jesus and basically all New Testament was focused in the guy telling how ppl should stop doing lamb sacrifices after they sinned to "clean" their soul and actually do the right stuff from the start and focus on soul itself. Witchcraft was still practiced but was looked down upon (not by israeli people but god himself), best example would be God getting angry at Saul when instead of waiting for god's command he went to a witch and summoned dead Samuel (Samuel was also pissed off😅)
@catelynh10205 ай бұрын
@@Yuuteimiya The tough thing about christianity is it is two different religions in one. Like how mormons are christians with an extra book and christians are jews with an extra book. The ot is distinct from the nt as the religion got changed to include this new figure, including talk about the religion being about love and god having the incompatible omnis. I'm really bad with names so forgive me for not being super specific, but if you look at the accounts of jesus's miraculous abilities, he gets more deified in later versions. In the oldest gospel, he was human and anything magical he did, he did by calling on god. The later versions had the power come from him, essentially making him a deity. The talking donkey was magical by itself and needed no extra powers from a god. Sam(p)son (it might actually just be samson) was born with magical hair. Wisest king...solomon, pretty sure...sacrificed an obscene amount of animals to get his magical wisdom. Various people had magic tricks that were seen as equal to those who believed in the god of israel, but it was the god that did things like extending the day by keeping the earth from rotating (or holding the sun still more literally) and lighting braisers on request. No human could flood the whole planet, but they were able to do transformations and creations. Moses and co caused all water in egypt to become blood and summon frogs, and supposedly the pharaoh's men could do that as well. Even in the nt, jesus's own kin had to be convinced he was a prophet despite him doing miracles. It was jesus himself who said that if you had enough faith you could request a mountain move and it would do so. There's also that extra interpretation about being able to do snake handling because faith would keep you safe, and there is at least one church denomination in the US that handles snakes to...not always great results...because of said faith

As a Christian, that anamatronic pissed me off. One of the main focuses of Jesus' death on the cross is that it was slow and painful and he, being fully man and fully divine, felt and understood every moment of it, but still chose to allow it to happen, to go through that pain because of his love for us so that we may be redeemed through him. Replacing the Son of God with a lifeless, sparkly, expensive robot (when that money could have gone to literally anything else) is disrespectful on uncountable numbers of levels.

I understand where it comes from, like not wanting to associate their religion with other people's bad behavior, but it also feels like just an inability to take responsibility for the fact that their religion is used as an excuse and explanation for this bad behavior. Like. They are Christians. They're just also bad people, and it's not fair to just not take responsibility for the harm the Christian church and Christians have done.

It's because some christian things do have connections to paganism. in europe you'll even see very old churches with protective sigils on them, put there by practitioners of witchcraft or paganism during that time period. some things like anointing are really just a parallel to witchcraft because once upon a time, some people used them in tandem or the lines were purposefully blurred to encourage pagan people to convert.

They want to act as a minority that deserves more rights than gay, trans and people of colour, when in reality Christians are in the large majority of the population and are held at the same standards as the rest of humanity and that other religions are given just as much credence as there’s are. “that’s the devil trying to get you to do what you want” is so wild. like i understand that always putting the things you want before the needs of others is not great, but you’re just. not allowed to do anything you want to do??? how on earth do they expect to retain any membership with that mindset? i heard something interesting about how christian morality was sort of a response to being enslaved in the roman times, and the morality was basically built around being the opposite of what the rich people who owned slaves did, so that they could say the rich people were going to hell and the slaves had salvation to look forward to. so like, “owning slaves is evil,” sure, yes, makes sense, “taking care of the sick is good,” love it, but then also “doing things for pleasure is sinful” made it in there, because rich people threw parties and stuff. just sharing in case that helps put in perspective why that mindset is pushed, and why it’s not based in anything that makes sense. it’s just pure contrarianism, and you don’t have to feel bad for not following a moral system put in place thousands of years ago to make certain people feel superior.

Just to name a few Hell- literally named after the Anglo-Saxon goddess of the underworld Hel Easter- the celebration with a feast is most likely correlated to the Anglo-Saxon feast for Eostre that was synchronized with Passach Christmas: yule tree, yule log, yule fires (lights), elves, etc And then demonize things that are Christian like the upside down cross which was used by a guy who didn't want to disrespect Jesus because he was being crucified

I'm sorry if I'm a bit offensive, but can you explain why Christians are accountable for what the church did in the past, but the Scandinavian religion's followers aren't accountable for murdering and r*ping countless numbers of innocent people in the past? That just feels weird... And, like, the Scandinavian religion literally says that being a ruthless warrior and dying at war is the ultimate goal of your life (or, at least, you're considered superior to everyone else). And yes, some church leaders often said (and keep saying) literally the same. (I'm from Russia and Patriach Kirill barely said that dead soldiers go to Valhalla lol). But that's not what Jesus said. That's not what Christianity teaches. Yet, it is what the Scandinavian religion teaches. And I'm not saying that modern pagans are OK with murder, but I'm somehow accountable for the crusades just because I'm Christian, even though my religion is actually against crusades (I mean, r*ping and murdering people to make the king richer because the pope said so don't really match with loving your neighbor). But the Scandinavian religion's followers aren't accountable, even though their religion did actually glorified violence and war. Again, please sorry if I'm offensive, but I just don't understand that... I try to accept everyone regardless of their religion, but I still feel like some people view me as a sort lower-class citizen due to my beliefs. idk, I can't help feeling like some atheist consider themselves the nobel in this hierarchy of religions (they think they're kinda "scientific"), and Christians alongside with some other religions are considered the lower-class. But... pagans are somehow considered the middle-class? Whenever I say that all crap bigots say online is not what Jesus teaches people often say, "Well that's good, BUT IN THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH... ". But pagans somehow can just go and say, "Hey, I'm a pagan!", and no one will even think that they should be accountable for anything. (Some can say that it's because very few pagans age bigots, but that's simply not true, for example, there are a lot of stories online about abuse in pagan communities, some pagans are kinda nazi-ish, in Russia many pagans are misogynistic, they teach that if the husband cheats on his wife, drinks too much vodka and doesn't want to find job, it's the wife's fault ...because she didn't "charge" her womb with "nature's feminine enegry" by walking in a long skirt ...without panties ...yeah (and this is supposed to be some secret knowlege you could access buy paying for a course))

I am a wasian, bisexual, tattooed, pierced, non-gender conforming (short hair, masculine features, don't believe in traditional gender roles), Buddhist woman that practises witchcraft outside of the Buddhist faith (yes Buddhism practises witchcraft). Stuff that would outrage your average Christian. That being said I've lived in Saudi Arabia for over a decade and I've met several Muslims that don't care about my different faith, sexuality, or how I present myself. I'm aware how fortunate I am to have not experienced heavy discrimination as some people are actively discriminated against by Muslims. But that happens in every religion, there's always bad apples; hell people say I'm not a real Buddhist because I'm pierced and tattooed (despite Sak Yant (religious Buddhist tattoos) being a very real representation of Buddhism) or because I practise witchcraft. I will say, I have been discriminated against much much more by Christians than any other religion. Every religion teaches people to love and as I've become more entwined in my faith, I find it so sad that religious people can be so filled with hate against a certain group of people or things. That being said, I also believe in science. I don't actively use the "The Gods have answered my prayers!" excuse if something happens, I'll rule everything out first and then say it's some kind of divine intervention. Extremely devout Christians truly do scare me.

I was raised Catholic and couldn't handle the priests talking about sin anymore knowing that if they knew the closeted side of me they'd be roping me in with that. I actually found a Christian queer-affirming church where everyone is not only accepting but it's celebrated. We have rainbow sidewalks, a Pride Sunday in June, and we acknowledge our kinship with the LGBTQ+ community and Indigenous peoples (I'm from Treaty 6/7 in Canada) every Sunday through a candle lighting. It's a really cool church. It's the United Church of Canada. In the states there are some Episcopal churches that are queer affirming as well. All of this is to say that I feel your pain, and know what it's like to deconstruct my faith. In my case I found a safe place to reconstruct my faith because that was right for me and my beliefs, and I wanted to tell you that there is hope for that if you are interested. Also nature is by default so weird I dont understand how those people use it as status quo perfect state of humanity😂 Gay lions, gay penguins, almost every animal can be researched and find gay couples. I'm not even talking about different social constructs in animal kingdom... They pretend to know a lot but in reality only read kindergarten biology and happy with that.

Honestly humanity as a whole are not natural, we as a species have developed over years and years to get to where we are now. If we were to be truly “natural” we would not be existing in big bustling cities driving around in cars and wearing all of these fabricated synthetic clothing. To these sorts of people, what’s “natural” is only what they perceive through their lens of the world around them, which is just so stupid 💀

For that lady saying to “return your body so that it may digest food correctly” (or whatever she says exactly idc) the funniest part is that our bodies naturally can’t digest gluten or lactose. Those were traits developed over time. If you were to have a “natural stomach and intestines” then you wouldn’t be able to digest those foods. Edit: I was wrong about gluten but the statement about lactate is still correct. Sorry

I’m pretty sure that humans can generally digest gluten and only suffer adverse effects if they have Celiac. Lactose is indeed something that adult human bodies can’t digest by default. Some people still have enough lactase to digest it without the annoying symptoms. The artificial sweeteners polyols aren’t digestible either which is the reason that sugar-free products have a warning that they can cause diarrhea.

Had a man in the church I was raised in ALWAYS go on and on about porn addiction and the immorality of homosexuality when he was called to preach whenever the pastor needed a break. Those two things specifically. Every time. It was the most "the call is coming from inside the house" thing that I've ever heard.

Gah, the bit about persecution always ticks me off. I'm a practicing Christian, and quite frankly that level of self-victimization is borderline heresy. The Bible talks a lot about the history where the Jewish people were ACTUALLY persecuted, and there’s plenty of places today where people are being persecuted (to the point of being killed) for various reasons, but American Christians think they're being persecuted because some people don't agree with them. That mentality cheapens every struggle we see in the Bible, including the sacrifice of Jesus. In any case, you made some great points here. The only thing that I want to clarify is that fear has a different definition in the Bible than to be afraid. To be fearful of God is meant more like to be in reverence of Him rather than afraid. I'm not sure if the person making that reel knew that, though. The reading comprehension of some church-goers is alarmingly low, quite frankly.

Anytime you see a KZbin video or a TikTok where Andrew T. or Sneaky-o is presented as a guru, and it's not a snippet during discussion of their negative impact, report it. I worked in TT as a mod. Due to the ban of those individuals, tiktoks with them were automatically deleted. Anything that the moderators didn't manage to tag, you can report in the app. I don't use TT but on yt it's easy and I have a huge amount of automatic responses from yt team confirming they deleted reported content where sneaky-o or Andrew T. appeared.

Queer nb Christian here, and I could talk SO MUCH about the intersection of queer identity and Christian faith (but I don’t feel like typing out a whole peer-reviewed essay here atm lol). A couple things I do want to say tho are that: As you mentioned, a lot of Christians are very welcoming and accepting of LGBTQ+ people! The church I attend rn even has a study group/support group centered on queerness and Christian faith. I also have a lesbian friend (whose sibling is non-binary) where both her mom and her dad are pastors and she grew up for a long time not even knowing what homophobia was because she was always in a supportive environment where she saw queer people in her church’s leadership. Another thing just more in general with the contents of the video: I hate the persecution complex so many (mainly American) Christians have. It’s true that there is a history of Christian oppression and violence against Christians but that’s not what’s happening in America. I’ve seen other people just completely deny that Christians were ever oppressed which is just denying history, but I feel like if people actually learned the history of Christian oppression they would be less likely to call whatever they feel is “oppression” nowadays as such because it’s so wildly different to what happened to them prior.
