Good stuff SG. Our film notes compare well. Just wrapped up Keon Coleman and am in the note comparison stage of McConkey. Complete opposite vibes for them. Largely unimpressed with Coleman whereas with McConkey I am very impressed. I am consistently replaying his routes. Dude doesn't need a target and I'm having fun. Love McConkey

McConkey is going to be a very very productive WR 2. Separation is the purpose.... 4.2/3/4 WR's are desired but if those guys are predictable/poor route runners.. they are basically a 4.7 guy.

Breaks ankles of those trying to cover him. GAWD DAMN!!! 0-60 is 2 steps, then 60-0 in 1, then back to go in just 2 steps. How does he even handle the g's he's pulling. Went up against the best of the best in the CBs and held his own. Maybe if he played in another division, not playing with the best DBs in NCAA, plus sharing the spotlight with Bowers. I think he's def. Top5 Chargers got a steal in round 2.

Bolts move Keenan Allen…a magician at releasing and at the top of the route…and replace him with this guy…a great route runner plus quicker and faster…Herbert will love this guy…more importantly he’ll trust him.⚡️

I mean that’s not where he excels. I like him more than Brian Thomas because he can beat press coverage and make short and intermediate plays which is highly valued in the nfl

McConkey reminds me of Wes Welker and no it’s not because they are both white. Welker was an excellent route runner who was guick and very good at setting up defenders. They are both faster than they are given credit for both are capable of taking the top off a defense

He really isn't as physically gifted as the other WRs... I absolutely don't see the twitchy moves you speak of... But everything else is true he's a strong route runner and sets up his moves well. I would love to see him in Houston, Carolina or any of the young QB teams... To have him age with that QB

I’d take him over odunze, Franklin, and Thomas Jr. Those guys film is just track stars running go routes. We’re seeing where those types of players end up in the nfl already.. compliment pieces & odunze is a college baller with slower feet than the other guys. NFL corners aren’t having that

I don’t know about odunze but I for sure like him more than Franklin and Thomas. I think he’s more nfl ready than odunze, but odunze can develop into a monster if he refines his route running
