This series and Trixie and Katya specifically have literally been my lifeline for the last couple years. I was in an abusive relationship and I would go hide in the bathtub and listen to these two and they would remind me of what it is to be happy and to laugh and to Kiki with your girlfriends. While I was soaking trying to get rid of the bruises they would literally fill my heart with joy and laughter and that is something I will be forever grateful for and I will be lifelong fans of them. I escaped thank God but they kept me going. (UPDATE!!! I MET KATYA!!! SHE WAS AMAZING!!! ❤️❤️)

To the person who asked the visual arts career question, as a person with a BFA and a long term dream of making my art a career, I recently came to the conclusion that there is something to be said for keeping your art for you and those people who already love it and then just looking for a subtly creative job (im a visual merchandiser now). My dad was 50 and my mom was 42 when I was born and God when I became an adult I learned they taught me so much more than what most people my age knew. And yeah, growing up I was kind of bummed out because my parents couldn't do a lot of things with me that other kids parents could but I'm grateful for them always being on the sidelines for everything I did and everything they taught me. I wish I would have appreciated it more when I was younger.

same here but the sad thing for me is ill prolly lose my parents earlier than most. Like kids could have their parents living up to age 90 and they're still in their 60s or 40s (yall do the math). Ill be in my late twenties or my 30s and my parents could pass away by then. i kinda hate the fact that I'm not gonna have immediate family when I get older. this is not a negative outlook okay but just a reality that I've cried a lot when I was in hs. hehehehe my parents are still with me tho so that's great.

Same here. Parents didn’t think they could have kids yet I somehow made it into this world. Mum gave birth to me at 37 and my dad was 40. I was their only child and my god did they have some life experience! It’s also nice that I can now help my mum with the ever-changing technology. She actually loves drag race too😂
