Yes! It’s one thing when someone is talking about the thing you’re seeing (even in the cineplex it doesn’t bug me unless they’re talking incessantly). What’s bothersome is when it’s something total random- because then they’re taking me out of it. It’s like, if you’re that bored and uninterested just leave
@akirebara2 жыл бұрын
@@simplicitylost THIS!!! if you don’t like the show, LEAVE! Don’t be an asshole to the people around you. I’m still angry at this white bread, from the boonies couple who kept talking during Hamilton (Chicago ensemble). It was so rude! And at the end, during the standing ovation, they didn’t stay. They didn’t clap & just left. Could have been better if they left earlier
@simplicitylost2 жыл бұрын
@@akirebara Yes! Part of the reason I’m okay with talking _about_ what you’re watching is because I can be guilty of this. One time, years ago, I saw a midnight movie (they’re all old films for fun) of _The Neverending Story_ and I was whispering to my friend about the film and someone shushed me. I was stunned- we were all there because we’re fans; you don’t go to see film at a midnight showing for the first time. Anyways, I still obliged and didn’t talk anymore because I _was_ technically being rude; I was just stunned because usually midnight movies are for huge fans and we’ve all already seen it so it’s more about the community experience than watching the film.
