I know this is an old video, but I just found this song & loved it. I had a stroke when I was 34y/o & have short term memory loss. This song is the ONLY “new” song that I’ve been able to remember the lyrics, melody, beat, etc. the next day+ in the last NINE YEARS & am beyond devastated that it is unfinished! I’m kind of disappointed this won’t be the version that’s released. It really has such a great vibe and is so well recorded. The parts come together super nicely and are all really interesting. Wow, Jason. This is wonderful. I watched the other one many times, and you have really enhanced it again. I love the cello in it. You have some pretty great musical smarts, talent and creativity. (To bring my "music to life" you'd pretty much have to excavate it outta me. Not my forte, but I could do a killer recitation of Let me not to the marriage of true love!) Thank you so much for this. Did you know that Michael Jackson didn’t play any musical instruments or know how to write music? Despite this he wrote so many songs and the music to go with them and he did it by humming, beatboxing and ‘singing’ the music to the producers so that they could translate it into what he heard in his head. There is a video where he is talking the producers through a song in this manner. So you are not the only one who needs someone else to ‘excavate’ the music out of you and just like Jason has done with Elyse’s song. I believed the best things in this world, if not almost everything, is accomplished thro collaboration with other talented people, but of course this is the last thing we teach young people, our society would like to believe the individual is everything and it’s one of the biggest lies ever told. Dig that music out and bring it to the world.
