I got charged on AirBnB $300 from the owner because one of her instructions were to not eat on the couch....and she found a NAPKIN under the couch..so she assumed we were eating. She also said there was excessive partying because we brought alcohol. We had a $300 bottle of tequila that we kept IN THE PANTRY and the creepy neighbor came in asking for some of that "good tequila". I looked around, wondering how he saw it considering it was packed away until we unpacked inside and it was kept away on purpose. I disputed saying they clearly have cameras set up to spy on us and they cancelled the request for money.

@@danit9195 so she texted me saying there’s 2 cameras we have to turn off. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. We unplugged both and put them away. The neighbor that came in we invited to come to our bbq because he jumped our boat (the boat we rented from them that was sketchy and stalled on us 3 times) so we offered him food to be kind, he did us a favor. When he made the comment about the tequila we brought him outside (it rubbed us the wrong way but he didn’t wanna be rude) and he said “you know they’re watching you guys they have a shit ton of cameras. Me thinking he’s just drunk I figured he was talking about the ones she referred to when we checked in. In hindsight I think that was her way of covering up the other cameras

And there’s a ton of cameras that are hidden in the same of random objects that you would least expect. I went into a spy store once with my friends and the extend that people go to for hidden cameras gave me chilla

Coming from a Delaware and Maryland realtor here..Taking anything like cabinets, toilets, sinks and light fixtures (unless stated in the contract) is not permitted and the buyers can sue, or drop out of the deal as it is a breach of contract. I'm in America and I live in a two bedroom, 2 and a half bath, full kitchen, dining room and living room as well as balcony. We have a pool too but it hasn't been open in about 3 years and we have new management as of 2 years ago after the old long time management sold the property. My boyfriend and I have been together for 11 years and 10 of them we've lived here. We were so bummed when the pool didn't open again this summer and they haven't even been cool about it and reduced a portion of a rent for the inconveinence and it's been pissing everybody off! I understand Covid is still a thing but a lot of people have been vaccinated where I live and they were just lazy and cheap and didn't want to fix any of the issues they had with the pool. The buildings themselves are pretty old. Our balcony is crumbling and needs repaired. Our rent is pretty high but not as high as some other places, especially in New York or in California. I'm in Ohio.

i’m not the mall kiosk person but i have my own similar story. dude worked on me for like 30 min and before i knew it i was swiping my card for $300 for all these expensive cleansers and lotions and 2 facials. i got the facials and used the products for a little bit but they were too fragrant for my preference. i also felt extreme buyer’s remorse as soon as i got to my car. i felt like i had been taken advantage of. and honestly the tactics they use to get you to buy the stuff, like they will not let you leave. they can’t physically hold you there but if they see you looking doubtful they’ll bring over more associates as a form of intimidation. it’s a giant scam and companies like that should not be allowed to operate in malls. they prey on more timid people who are alone. i have adhd and ptsd so social interactions are already difficult for me so i guess that made me an easy target for them. i just wanted to share my story in case anyone else had a similar experience and felt shameful. don’t feel shame about a situation you were never in control of.

As a person that lives in Portland and my family has Air B and B's, I always smell weed and there is never a problem lol. Also as a person who cleans them we have to wipe down ALL of the surfaces that she toke picture of so you would think that they would go thought cleaning and see if anything that was left got cleaned up in the process. We really only say anything about like wall and furniture damage. Like one person thought a suitcase at the wall and made a whole and we ONLY charged them for the cost after we got it fixed so we weren't over charging them that person is simply a ass. also if y'all checked out at the right time there would be a 4 hour gap till the next person so the smell would be longggg gone
