The crazy thing Brad, is that she only uses one rack tom, & one floor tom. What a sound she could make if she adds the other two. But then of course, we could all say that she just doesn't need them.

@@785boats, I really don’t know much about drum kits other than the basic things, which drum is named what, etc., but she sure sounded like she was getting plenty of great sound out of just what she was using. I agree with you though, we can just say that she is so good, she doesn’t need anything more. The funny thing is that at one point in my life I had two roommates, and both of them were drummers. 😁 We rented a house together, (this was when I was in my twenties, in California,) and one roommate was a jazz drummer Pat Methaney, Dave Clark five, etc.,, and had his kit set up in our living room, and the other was a heavy metal drummer with the double bass drum kit set up in the garage. Man, when they both practiced at the same time it was crazy loud, and two completely different beats. Just insane, LOL. they wore earphones, with the music they were jamming to, being played through them, but for me, all I heard was the craziest mixture of beats you can imagine.😂 It was great though when either band showed up and they practiced. Free lie concert without leaving my house! 😊🤘

@@bradtaggart5509 He!He! yeah. I know what you mean man. My son is a drummer/guitarist/sound engineer. From the age of 15 he was under our house practicing with his bands. I absolutely loved it. Especially when they had an AC/DC tribute band on the go. I had to drag him & his gear around to pubs & clubs because he was too young to drive or even be there on his own. But I did see some brilliant shows.

The other crazy thing, Siti the drummer didn't even have her own drum set when he played this music....They are come from a village far from the city..in their struggle they face many challenges from people who don't like them playing metal music..from bullying to physical..and miraculously this is the result of their struggle..and yes their musicianship is top notch

Dude they ROCK, They played at Wacken Open Air 2022 and killed it solid. Wow. Marsala, Thailand, Philippines area has some really great musicians who are very young and have found there own musical voice. Yeh I am one of the old rockers but one must move over and let the new breeds carry the torch. It makes no matter color, Boy, Girl, or a 7 year old taking over a whole band. Hi Ed, hey, I’m not sure why but this popped up in my feed from a year ago. I’ll tell you, I stumbled across a great singer a couple of months ago, performing the Scorpions’ ‘Wind Of Change’ and she had an amazing voice. I had no idea who she was, or where she was from, and all I had was a single name ‘Tantri’ to search for her. It turns out she is the lead singer for a band in Indonesia named ‘Kotak’, and man do they rock! They do some songs in English, and Tantri works solo too. It’s another great band out of Indonesia you might want to check out. I might have already mentioned her and them to you, because it sounds familiar as I’m typing it, but getting this video in my feed just jolted my memory.

So lets me give my thought... as a person and as Indonesian... of course hhe... Their will be a little... we can say pro/kontra "perception" about music in here... but there only just on that level... and for this case they just wanna delivery their thought/perspective about the music itself... like how they can expression their music with her own way... because you know our country are mostly moeslem... but not to really "conservative" anyway... much people in here of course love music ( like we saw in this channel how they love Alip's ) but still there are not "very commons" in here, like wearing a hijab and play'n some "death metal" but as far as i know almost people in here have their respect for each other... how they took their opinion about the music itself hhe... so maybe its can be give a little situasion... And don't worry and take seriuosly about what happens now to this band... they have a lot of fans in here... being invite for "TV Program" and for recently... they succes made a concert in paris which its have support by Indonesia Government to make an amazing "Concert" in there... So I just wanna say maybe somepeople would have no idea... how much... Indonesia people in here love to the music... hhe... But yesh infact still there are some people not only in here but in a whole world too... they just avoid "music" because their believes "not hated", somepeople can respect that, and somepeople have problem with that... hhe...
