Great video, lots to think about when it comes to priority damage. I've generally thought about Infected Claws as a weak talent with the Blight build but do think I need to reconsider, especially due to the increased RP gen you get from it.

Starting with IC BS with PP and assault, picking up Blight, AoTD, Soul Reaper are all increments taken for more single target. Curious when one chooses the different combinations depending on damage requirements.

Raidbot sims agree with all but your first row. I use All Will Serve. With just my weak IL 151 that’s a 2.5% dps loss when choosing Infected Claws

Raidbot sims of course but there are many other factors to consider that raidbot does not. I would go more indepth with this but it'd probably require another video, but trust what I say as I've tried IC/AWS/CS throughout beta and with this build in m+ IC has come out on top in a lot of situations when combined with PP.

All will serve is a good choice for ST and some minor cleave. Infected claws is really good for aoe. His build seems to keep a strong single target but also boost his aoe as well. Unholy appears right now to have a few viable choices.

infected claws has very good synergy with pestilent pustules in aoe, you get more runic power to cast more epidemics, and you still have unholy blight to boost your army of the dead during boss fights

You need to get the leggy at most where your Howling blast restores runic power while rime is up and while swarming mist is damaging, it is easy to spam breath :)

I can't understand how you got so many wounds when activated dark transform(6:18). You changed targets so your pet put them? If I attempt to fill wounds -> dnd and then pop them I end up with no resources real quick... Also when you spammed epidemic you also generated runic power, how?

Loving the build, is it possible BS would suit a newer player better even with Venthyr? Its my first time playing DK and sometimes I feel like my AotD is off cooldown but I dont want to use it unless its a hard elite/boss mob as trash dies so fast, so was thinking IC/BS/UA would be more efficient until i learn the timings better and/or the mobs have higher hp when M+ releases so i can use it between bosses too

Hey Dorki, with the nerf to mastery I find that Venthyr is underperforming quite a bit in raid settings and mythic+. However, I still like the flow of Swarming Mist with its low CD and available to use during big add pulls in higher keys. However, I am debating to switch to necrolord now, since the sheer damage output is higher on necrolord than swarming mist. What are your thoughts on this?

Hi, in ur Gameplay section. You start with UB, DT into Mist -> spam Epedemic. I noticed u started this pull with 70 RP. Does it work the same with 0 RP at the beginning. Or do i have to do some Festering strikes? To start a basic rotation with 70 RP is kinda cheating :D

It's good to start with some fester when mobs are grouping, or before a pull, before key starts. But youj can just go without RP as well.

If you really feel your guild needs that tiny bit extra from necro then by all means go for it! If you're still primarily M+ing I wouldn't worry about it. Also atm theres a huge lack of venthyrs in m+(for sanguine depths and halls specifically)

I assume you epidemic prio because it was 10 mobs, since DnD now has a 5 target liimtation (huge nerf also nerfing the talents Infected claws and festering wounds) lets say its 5 or even up to 7 targets and you have infected claws wouldn't dnd + scourge strike popping all those festering wounds be the prio over epidemic for aoe rotation???

Wounds are just not very impactful now with the removal of festermight. Basically the idea behind the build is to have an extended burst window(epidemic window, followed by dnd+epidemic window).

Idk but every expansion i get gear that is trash and every dungeon i clear i get nothing from run it self and in vault i get high ilvl trash. And my dps is trash, i mean for gear and stats i have im doing ok but i know for fact that my dps is trash. Im at almost 30% vers or at 25% haste mastery gear is nowhere to be seen. And luck like this made me quit wow. It sucks but every new char i lvl up ends up with same trash and i lose will to play game.
