UNIC Christmas Spirit 2024 - A Joyful On-Campus Holiday Experience🎄
The holiday season came alive at the University of Nicosia as the UNIC Christmas Spirit 2024 returned from 29 November to 6 December, bringing festive cheer to the community! Co-organised by UNIC and the Karaiskakio Foundation, the week-long celebration was filled with magical events and activities, welcoming guests of all ages to embrace the holiday spirit.
Highlights included:
✨ Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: The festivities kicked off on 29 November at 18:00, featuring live seasonal music by Fani Papamichael and Tasos Evangelou, broadcast by LOVE FM 100.7. Guests were treated to festive snacks as the tree lit up the night!
✨ UNIC Christmas Village: From 29 November to 1 December, visitors enjoyed a beautifully decorated outdoor market with stalls offering holiday crafts, gifts, sweets, drinks, and street food. The Village was buzzing with family-friendly activities like live performances, storytelling, a photo booth with Santa, face painting, and more.
✨ Free Christmas Movie Screenings: Held at Discovery Hall, audiences delighted in heartwarming Christmas films from 2 to 4 December and on 6 December.
This year’s event was made even more special by its partnership with the Karaiskakio Foundation, bringing the community together in support of a meaningful cause.
