I have been meticulously researching off-road expedition vehicles for years now and I can finally say that UNICAT is second to none. Was considering an Earthroamer XV-HD before, but the 6x6 MAN platform is truly the way to go. The only con is that MAN replacement parts are hard to come by in the U.S. but the way this is built I doubt a big amount of maintenance will be necessary.

Nice and neat lay out/set up for both driver and passenger cabins, wondering there is small section/spot for radio operation (like amateur radio) accomodating the HF & VHF radio unit & computer set up neatly as well.

You have done a very nice job with the modification of the interior. The only thing I don't like is that big chunky boxy thing on the dashboard. You could have replaced it with a nice touchscreen that could show the same information.

Suggested Modification: Drivers cab steps are too low for lots of rough terrain. You could make lower two steps retract when door closes. Big improvement there if you look at it.

the owner of this vehicle is very large, and the last two steps are connected with rubber, so that they can move. Anyway, very good idea

I love expedition rv's, but I can't help but comment that the cooler in the cab might better be situated on the opposite side so as to aid the driver to reach back for something, say a sandwich or a cold drink, instead of just behind themselves where it would be extremely difficult.

Great setup. Allthough some quality problems: above the handbrake the screw twisted the leather which is a bummer and second that with moving the sattelite disc it bumped into the fan shields and black marks are allready visible on the disc. That wont last very long....

Yes, you're right, the problem has already been solved for the satellite disc. We also noticed this during the filming of the video. For the handbrake skin, the dashboard has been replaced with a new one entirely in polished carbon fiber.

The last two steps that give you access to the drivers cab seem very low if you were to take the truck up or down some very steep terrain! Has it ever been a problem the access steps grounding out?

abc, that's what some of their customers do. They sell the house and put everything into storage. They buy the motorhome and spend 2-3 years traveling the entire world. I guess some work for websites as emergency income. I live in Texas and saw one of these monsters in a Target parking lot with Swiss license plates! I don't know how much they spent having it ferried across the Atlantic but I know it wasn't cheap!

These are not for low budgeted trip, this is self sustaining rig and can go to the remotest area as long as the truck can fit in and can drive to, it’ll just go and go.. just to mention a lot of germans are capable enough to spend such amount for this truck without getting broke and by filling up fuel and expenses wouldn’t be a challenge. It’s just a beauty and reliability at its finest!!

Großartige Arbeit. Aber bitte für Kamera, Schnitt, Set Ton! Und Postproduktion (Mischung Musik und O-Ton) ebenso Profis fragen, wie auch ihr Profis für off road Fahrzeuge seid. Leider passt die absolute high End quality eures Fahrzeugbaus nicht mit der audiovisuellen Qualität eures Promovideos zusammen. Spart nicht an der falschen Stelle.
