UNICEF and EU Support Preservation of Handloom Weaving in Cox's Bazar

Traditional handloom weaving nearly vanished in the Chakma community in Cox's Bazar.
But through handloom courses at a UNICEF-supported multi-purpose centre funded by European Union in Bangladesh and EU Partnerships, Chakma adolescents are learning these age-old techniques to keep their culture alive.
