Thank you to UNICEF for doing incredible, unsung work around the world every day. Puts my faith back in humanity seeing volunteers on the ground, putting themselves at risk, to save others.

The stark realities of climate change" is another misleading title. The facts: from 1920 to 2023, deaths from floods, droughts, storms, and wildfires have decreased from 500,000 per year in 1920 to just 9,000 per year in 2023. There are far more deaths attributed to cold than to heat. In the USA, extreme heat deaths are 6,000, compared to 152,000 from extreme cold. In Europe, 20,000 deaths are due to heat, while 220,000 are due to cold. So being slightly warmer has saved hundreds of thousands, including vulnerable children and the elderly. We have seen a narrative that originates from the UN, from its sub-organizations and the head of the UN, that is totally misleading. While climate policies can help reduce climate-related problems, the cost far outweighs the benefits. If we do nothing, the problems will be addressed by increasing wealth and the ability to deal with poverty. Once that is achieved, we will be better able to deal with climate issues and afford better energy solutions. Not over-investing in unreliable sources of energy (solar/wind) would be a good start. Not over-taxing our food producers with punitive emission taxes would also be a good start. Watch Bjorn Lomborg for sensible solutions and facts.

Sorry to diverge from the hopium, but what children really desperately need is to not be brought into this dying world at this terminal juncture. Pew Research Center just published "The Experiences of US Adults Who Don't Have Children", which reveals this quote: "US adults younger than 50 without children who say they are unlikely to ever have kids rose 10 percentage points between 2018 and 2023 (from 37% to 47%). Greatest gift those prescient loving adults could possibly give to an unborn child, who otherwise would be born into a collapsing climate worldwide and, according to stats from the EU's C3S agency, would be celebrating (?) his/her 23rd BD in 2047, when projections are for a 6 degC world to burn-up in. UNICEF is an agency that's out lived its usefulness and should be passing out birth control pills/devices rather than food, etc.

In 2019 more children died from problems related to obesity, than starvation or malnutrition. There is no "Climate Crisis", and the world would be okay if it were not for a socialist depopulation agenda pushed by evil people.
