Unico Review

The Final part of the Osamu Tezuka marathon. Mr.Nobody goes back to the beginning and reviews his favorite work by Osamu Tezuka, the Unico anime and manga. The video will cover the 1981 anime film, the 1983 sequel, the original 1976 manga, and the 1979 pilot anime.

Unico has always been a favorite of mine. It's sad how so many people have never heard of this little unicorn. Wonderful storylines and whimsical. The villians were actually scary! (at least to 4 year old me)

My mom had recorded the Unico movies on VHS for me and I watched them so much that I can still say the dialogue. I purchased the Blu-ray a couple years ago on Amazon so I could share it with my son:). I absolutely loved this anime.

Saw the fantastic adventures of unico at 3 years old and fell in love with anime. Sadly unico was really my only friend as a young child. I still visit him often
