@CakesbyLynz3 жыл бұрын
Hi Elieana, Yes candy melts are just like white chocolate, but they don't need to be tempered, you can just melt them down. This is what I have used for the cakesicles.

You are so talented and you explain everything in a way that I can understand and I feel like I can actually do your videos I had one question with the cake pops with a cake lollies are they always done with vanilla cake can it ever be done with chocolate?
@CakesbyLynz5 жыл бұрын
Hi Lorraine, Thank you so much for your message. It means so much to me to know that you like the videos and find then easy to understand and follow. I am so glad the fault line cake introduced you to the channel and thank you so much for subscribing. In regards to the cake pops you can use any flavour of cake. Chocolate cake tastes amazing in these. I love the taste of the cake surrounded by the candy melts. I hope this helps.

Hi Sarah, Yes you could definitely just use a cake instead of cupcakes, or cakesicles are great if you have any cake offcuts from other cakes you have been making.

I tried use melted white chocoholic, it should work the same as candy melt? But the side of popsicle are very thin. Every time I take it off the mould it will crack. :(
@CakesbyLynz5 жыл бұрын
Hi Meg, If the sides are looking a little thin you could add a few layers of the chocolate. So after the first layer has set add another layer just around the sides until its a little thicker. You could also wait until the chocolate has started to cool slightly as it will start to get a little thicker in consistency so will hold onto the sides better without sliding down to the bottom. I hope this helps.

Hi Prity, Candy melts are very similar to coloured chocolate, so if you don't have candy melts in India you can use white chocolate instead for the coating.

hi my cakesicles are breaking while unmolding.. for how long u kept in fridge for 2nd time?
@heersantwani41656 жыл бұрын
plz reply n help
@CakesbyLynz6 жыл бұрын
Hi Heer, I kept them in the fridge for about 10 minutes the second time. If the outer shell is cracking, you could possibly make the layer of candy melts or chocolate slightly thicker, or alternatively add another thin layer after the first has hardened to make the outer coating a little stronger to stop them breaking when taking them out of the mould. I hope this helps.
