I always found it weird that Blooms magic can’t do more. Like her power comes from the great dragon, the literally creator of the magical universe. You’d think she’d have access to more creation spells, some ideas I had would be have her control stuff like lava, rocks, and even metal. It would be nice to see her bring plants to life with a flame, or break the earth to launch burning magma at enemies, and melt metals to make shields and other weapons.

Harmonix had the best spells. The aesthetic of the spells was amazing. Musas harmonix spells (reverberating notes and diapason) were definitely my fav. it’s a shame the transformation was only around for 7 episodes :(

I THINK ABOUT THE OIL DELETE ALL THE TIME. I mean... that literally makes Tecna one of the most powerful creatures in the magical dimension. She can simply delete anything out of existence. Of course, it cannot solve all the problems, simply because in most situations harm also has to be undone, whether it influenced a living being or the environment, but anyway. The fact she never used it again triggers me.

Realistically, I believe the plot hole would’ve been fixed if all the the deleted items were moved to a digital trash bin. Tecna would then just sort through the deleted files and either restore or permanently delete them. The latter would mean either sending enemies off to the Omega Dimension or Oblivion, and dangerous/destructive artifacts off to someplace where they can either be demolished or safely stored away. I believe that this would be an ‘artificial’ (?) spell especially created by Tecna to connect her magic with actual computing. Basically her programmed spell would’ve been literal lines of code written in maybe her own programming language in some high-tech IDE and the terminal would be her execution of the spell in battle. This way she’s like an actual video game character. I can see how Timmy would help her out in coding spells. Sorry for the long text, I just had a spoof of inspiration. Which is ironic because I’m procrastinating on catching up with my programming homework.

My favorite spells are the earlier convergence spells, like Musa and Stella's "Songbird" which causes the target to fall asleep or the one where Musa and Tecna create one where they make a shield for the library during a battle. I specify the earlier ones since the show got pretty lazy with convergence spells by just having all six girls blasting their powers together to stop the current crisis.

The reason Tecna made her dimensional transporter even though Stella can teleport with her scepter is because Stella's teleportation has limits. The most glaring and obvious one is that she can only teleport to places she's familiar with. She wasn't familiar with Andros at all until later on, so if she had attempted to teleport there the first time it more than likely would've failed and they'd have gotten stuck who knows where (she mentions this in Season 2 as the reason why she can't just teleport the group into Downland through the rock, she's not familiar with the area and attempting it would just end in disaster).

After being reminded of Bloom's Supernova. I pondered what if the other girls had an immensely powerful spell that can be only use in desperation. Like for Stella I was thinking of a tiny nuclear explosion called Solar Climax. One massive and beautiful blast of solar energy ball of light that when explodes unleashes waves of radiation in a small area. Musa would something I call Life's Requiem, she would create a huge amount of instruments creating her own orchestra. In which it plays a powerful symphony, causing blasts of sound waves to appear from said instruments in large numbers. it leaves Musa very exhausted but any enemies hit by them being super unalive. Flora's would called Linphea's Wrath. She would essentially steal a spell from Valtor only it starts as a seed shoots at her target. as seconds passes, that seed will grow and bind their target with a tight embrace, turning them into a beautiful cherry blossom tree. Tecna's would be called Delete Cannon, where she constructs a cannon out of her magic and with time to charge, blasts her foes with a deadly force but the blasts goes pretty far so it's better used somewhere desolate. Lastly Aisha's would be called Morphix Maelstrom. Where a massive cloud of Morphix is created and pelts the land with hails the size of boulders.

I also like how they expanded Tecna’s power to also include order, and logic. Not only does Harmonix give her an arithmetic attack, but her Believix and Sophix special spells both have to do with calling upon the natural order of the universe to restore balance in something. I really hope they continue to delve into the more logical aspect of Tecna’s power.

Honestly, something I wish the show explored a bit more was convergence spells. Specifically between two specific members of the Winx to create a unique and powerful spell. For example, if Tecna's Fire Wall was actually a convergence spell between Tecna and Bloom that created a giant, powerful wall or barrier of green flames. Or what if Bloom and Musa came together to use a spell that I would call Disco Inferno, which would create giant waves of flames that spread out and attack the enemy. Considering the wide array of magic the Winx has between the six of them, it could create a lot of interesting combinations. I mean, Bloom is the fairy of the dragon flame and Stella is the fairy of the sun and moon, and I don't recall if they ever did a convergence spell that combined their powers specifically. Like, imagine they combine their powers to create a giant sphere of burning light, and it could be called Solar Interno or Celestial Blaze. I feel there was a lot of missed potential. Anyway, great video, as per usual.

Honestly, that's what I miss too, _ESPECIALLY_ because the Winx, as a tight-knit friend group, would be more powerful if they focus on attack combinations. S2 made a big deal about this and S3 played around with the Winx combining their attacks together, like Aisha, Musa and Stella making a rainbow shower sleep spell, or Flora and Aisha combining their powers to restore a whole forest. S4 onwards, they only bust out convergences for boring, one-shot special attacks against whatever they're fighting in the last episode... and it's so *BORING.* There's definitely a lot of missed potential because it could get the Winx talking outside of their designated bestie, and could explore their dynamics through their powers. Like what if complimentary powers like water and earth or fire and light aren't always the strongest combinations? Would opposing power sets (fire and water) cause problems? Create unstable convergence spells? And, naturally, have a convergence's strength be proportional to the bond shared between its casters. There's way too much that could be done with the concept but the show acts like they don't exist unless all the Winx are there to cast Generic Super Blast No476. I'm pretty sure Bloom claims that the Winx straight up _can't cast convergences_ unless they're all present in a later season. Hell, even _THAT_ could be explored, like the Winx are becoming too codependent!! But again, nothing from the show.

I would like Stella to have a spell name "The dark side of the moon" where she throws a beam of moonlight at an object with a violent past and is able yo see it (kind of like Tracix wings, but only useful to see violent past events). Also Flora been able to control both plants and earth, which would give room for a character arc where she is not able to fully control earth because for that kind of power you must have a strong, fierce personality, so she only uses plants and that makes her feel weak (like Aang in ATLA). Musa developing psychic powers with a spell where she recites "i can hear you thoughts like a melody" so she can hear people's thoughts.

I'd love it if every winx had a more defined role in their battles. I'm imagining like.. Bloom could be a magical nuke with powerful energy blasts, to suit her fiery nature. I imagine Stella could have a more reflective and purifying style of fighting, bouncing back attacks and breaking through darkness. Musa I imagine being a more disruptive fighter, using her powers to distract and weaken enemies. Flora I imagine as a supportive fighter and a healer, using her magic to help her friends and heal them, but god help you if you do manage to anger her. Tecna I imagine as a defensive fighter, with more protection focused spells, as well as more strategic spells. Aisha I imagine as the bruiser, dealing mostly physical damage up close and personal through the use of morphix weapons.

When it comes to Winx Club, one of the fairies that has a great potential is Roxy. Yes, I know. She's not in this video, but I think we can all agree that she deserves more spells too. So far, she only has around 4-6 spells: - Enchanted Cloak - Wolf Talon - Wild Heartbeat - Scorpion's Tail - Vocalisation Spell - Nullify The Wild Because of her lack amount of spells, I decided to make up a list of Roxy's spells for her Sirenix form: - Scorpion's Venom - Lion's Den Blast - Infinity Howl - Butterfly Tarp - Kangaroo Kick - Kangaroo Punch - Talon Of Sirenix (or maybe Claw Of Sirenix, I don't know)

I didn't even know that Aisha was rebranded as the Fairy of Waves, because I always thought of her as the Fairy of Water... Might be the case because I'm from Germany and here she would translate to the Fairy of Water, similar to Stella who is the Fairy of the Sun and the Moon. The Harmonix Spells deserved so much more, especially when you think about how short lived they are, the missed the chance to take the Spells over to Sirenix, and that would have been great. I always thought that Spell Aisha used in season 2 was called "Aquarius Current". I mean her Charmix Accessory is a Water bottle which functions kinda similarly to an Urn which is symbolic to the Constellation. Also i can kind of understand why the spells have mostly devolved to generic beams and shields for the most part. Aside from budget and Flash puppet limitations. Unlike most magical girl shows the Winx Series does not rely on stock footage which would each have the girls using much more well animated attacks which could actually look different if the animators had better budgets. Evergreen Blow could look like Flora is blasting her opponents with Evergreen Needles. Bloom's Dragon Heart could be a shield that looks more like a Dragon with its wings folded like a heart, Musa's Infinite Echo could involve her singing a single note that echoes around her opponent until she decides to end the spell (hense the "infinite" in the spells name), etc.

Like having some spells tied to certain accessories the winx are wearing in each of their forms sort of like the spells Stella could only use with her scepter. Tecna's Super Prism could be used with her own ring with a hologram prismatic gemstone that grows to protect her when she calls upon it for example. The summonable accessories the girls have for the harmonix arsenal could have also been worked into the overall designs of each of them also. Rather than just summoning them out of the aether. If done right the designs won't actually look cluttered especially if the magical weapons and accessories were designed to match with their respective fairy outfits. This show already has strong ties to fashion after all right down to real life fashion shows in Italy promoting the show so why not go all out with fashion and function.

Other ideas for Unique spell redesigns include for Flora: Spring Ring which could summon a ring of flowers around her or others that act similar to those protective circles or domains used to keep evil beings out unless they are invited in. Autumn Wind which conjures of cyclone of Autumn Leaves with a stronger flap of her wings. Lilac vortex could Summon a vortex of Lilac petals, Petal Hurricane could make a cyclone Of petals push back swarms of enemies that get too close, Lotus Flower could have a lotus petal style bursting effect when it hits its target Tecna: Firewall could be a barrier of Neon green digital or binary numeric flames Musa: Deafening chord as goofy as it would be could have musa strum an air guitar chord that deafens the opponent temporarily. Magical Echo could have her singing or soundwaves to deflect enemy attacks. Bloom: Fire Arrow could be similar to Sailor Mars's Flame snipe Attack, Flaming Armor where her body is protected by a literal armor of flames, Unfathomable flame could be a wall of flame that turns anything that hits it to ashes, evaporates water that makes contact with it or melts ice projectiles Stella: Light Diamond could havebeen the return of her ring that shoots out a single diamond of light at opponents, Solar Halo could involve her Bloomix tiara turning into a protective aura of light around her body, Double Eclipse before having been rebranded as Sirius Shield could have incorporated her lunar and Solar side at once by summoning two magical shields. One shaped like a golden sun and one shaped like a silver full moon mounted on her arms. And When she overlaps them it increases their durability while also creating a blinding effect on enemies Aisha...would have to be the next Katara when it comes to most of her spells animation budgets

I agree with everything! Though... There is one spell that I'd like to add from Layla/Aisha that goes unnamed and is just amazing. It's from S. 2 and it's when musa and Layla/Aisha go to a club. When Musa is grabbed, making Layla/Aisha be desperate and fear being alone restating her trauma... As a result she makes a shimmering glitter bomb with particles flying everywhere and hitting everyone firework style making some of the people loose their senses. It was the bomb (no pun intended) and I just wish people gave it morw attention! Great hob as always! Loving your content, and I wish you all the best!^^

About Bloom, I think she if she is able to control fire and heat, she should be able to control the wind, you see wind is caused by the difference in heat between two places, because hotter air is lighter and floats while colder air sinks making a current (there is more to it but I'm not in the mood to explain it all, also I don't know it all), using that principle Bloom would control the heat and a thus control wind also since she can suck fire up she could suck the heat of a place an ld make it colder, or even freeze it, imagine Icy's face.

Ok so love the video I have some ideas for spells for season 9 or another winx club spin off show in an alternate universe. Bloom -I would love too see bloom use lava 🌋based attacks where she could magically summon a volcano with a dragon coming out of it. Flora- I would like to see flora use more earth based attacks like creating an earth quakes. Also I would like too see flora use poison plants to incapacitate her opponents in combat it’s kinda dark but it would be interesting too se her nature/plant based attacks🌸☘️🌿. Aisha -know honestly I prefer Aisha to have water based powers since she’s the fairy of fluids I can see them allowing her to crest tsunamis 🌊 or whirlpools or even creating rain around her to increase her own magical abilities. Stella- I would like too see Stella use space based powers since she’s the fairy of the sun ☀️I could see her use the zodiac signs or use the moon for once even have gravity manipulation which would be cool too see. Musa- know musa I also agree with you that her Diapasion is the best and she could us sound to manipulate her surroundings like creating an avalanche. Tecna- I want too see her use her techno powers to make electrical gaits come to life to aid her and I want to see her us bio electricity powers which she could absorb stormies bowers to make her stronger which is a good contrast to stormy with her weather.

I would like to see them re-use spells, it's like in each NEW FORM their old spells just disappear, like when you become a more powerful fairy you can and should use what you learned before, you know like any magic-based show. I truly wish they did that, it would be fun to see a more powerful version of their first forms, same name, but more powerful. The Brazilian Dub mostly translated the Italian original so the names didn't change much(I guess when you have 2 languages with Latin roots it never changes too much). Tecna and Musa truly end up getting the short end of the stick when it comes to magic, and their powers are so unique and it would allow for so many cool visuals. And I do agree why not have Musa summoning musical instruments? It would be so cool she making a guitar out of magic and making a powerful sound wave with it or using her flute to like the Pied Piper and control her enemies for a short time(I guess it would be too OP but adding the time limit would resolve this problem).
