@@TomasMele fight wise yes. Honestly thinking about it now Enchantix got nerfed a lot, its actually kinda embarrassing considering it was supposed to be the most powerful fairy form. S3 is still my favorite but I do give credit the second half of S1 was pretty intense considering the Trix had no problems if any of their enemies actually died, considering there are several times they almost killed the Winx

The difference between season 1 fights and other seasons, especially the later ones once Nick also got involved, is that the Winx were also using their wits. They didn't just rely on their powers and using colorful blasts of magic, they used them creatively. Take Bloom vs Icy in season 1 when Icy trapped Bloom in an ice sphere and let gravity do the rest so Bloom would drop to her death. Bloom had the quick wit to teleport and appear behind Icy only after giving her a few seconds of false belief that she had indeed managed to kill her. And definitely the most badass move was when Icy created that ice "castle" to trap Bloom in but Bloom got out by having a whole ass manifestation of the Great Dragon wrap itself around the ice to break it. Had it been in later seasons, I'm sure they wouldn't have come up with this. They would have just had Bloom blast out of the ice, *maybe* use her powers to melt it, and that was it. It would definitely not have been as grand as it was.

@Will N that was by 4Kids! They made some pretty stupid changes, but you gotta admit it had some pretty kickass one liners. Vs say Nick S4 when Clareese tried blowing up Flora “I think someone is about to be less Enchantixing!” Who the h*ll approved of such a stupid dialogue? NGL in 4Kids S1 finale I actually really loved they added more dialogue with Icy and Bloom. It just sounds weird in Rai they’re not trash talking each other. I mean geez Icy even says “You’re gonna wish you never survived the destruction of Sparx!” If that doesn’t scream I’m gonna to actually kill you I don’t know what does.

@Will N actually in S1E26 when the Trix arrived, in Rai Stella says to Tecna “What will we do if we can’t stop them?” I really loved 4Kids changed it to Stella is cracking a joke even in the most serious situations “Eww, check on their taste in thrones! Can you imagine what would happen if they redecorated this place?” Or especially I seriously can’t get over 4Kids Icy demanding Stormy and Darcy give their DF to her “Stormy, Darcy!! Get over here! Give me your share of the DF I need it to take care of this uppidy pixie!!” Which at least explains how the Winx were able to beat Stormy and Darcy. In Rai they still had the DF but somehow are overwhelmed by a bunch of first years when even Ms. Griffin couldn’t stop them?? Still so bitter Darcy’s Dragon spell doesn’t actually do anything, like why not it blinds them or maybe a black goop that messes with their wings?

i really liked the fight against Griselda. This one is not the most memorable one, but I really liked it. That Griselda wanted to give Stella a kind of a lesson was just iconic. In my opinion. This was the first and probably last time where a teacher in the fairy school "fought" against their students. I just really liked the idea of it. And the fight of Valtor and Faragonda was not allowed to be this good. These opinions may be a little biased.

I haven't even watched it yet so I'm going to say now that Bloom vs. Icy in the season 1 finale has got to be at the top of the list. The only issue I had with that fight was that they never showed Bloom deliver the finishing blow to Icy if I remember correctly Edit: A proposal- Ranking the individual songs for the transformations.

I think the point was to show we all knew what Bloom did to her, despite it would’ve been too dark for a kid’s show if Bloom actually killed Icy or barbecued her. Not gonna lie it actually would’ve been waay cooler (goddamnit Barb) if Bloom had resummoned her dragon spell and Icy is actually in it (like caught in the middle of the body of the dragon) her flame is instantly snuffed and maybe she even hears a growling as she’s screaming in pain, like the Great Dragon herself is warning her the Dragon Flame does not nor will ever belong to her. Kinda graphic but whatever

NGL the part Bloom got her Enchantix in 4Kids I always loved waay better than Rai/Nick “Valtor will not win, ever” 4Kids “Baltor, I’ve had ENOUGH of Baltor. I AM FEARLESS AND OPEN TO MY POWERS” which I feel connected more to Bloom worried about unable to earn her Enchantix because she can’t save anyone from Sparx/Domino because its been dead for a long time.

It's implied in the show that fairies have superhuman durability since they get frozen, burned, slammed against walls and never actually get injured. The only time I remember one of the girls actually being hurt was Aisha when trying to break Darkar's cage

The battle for alfea fight in season 1 will always be the best fight of the series in my mind. It was like the most epic thing I ever saw on 4kids as a kid and we got to see how blooms power broke out epically to defeat the trix and we got to see why the Dragon Flame is the 'ultimate power' of the magical universe. Especially loved the dialogue between bloom and icy in their fight above that lake in the 4kids dub. Just added to the suspense of it all.

Yeah! NGL Rai’s dialogue a lot of sounded like a translated copy of the Italian or something. Doesn’t help that the original pacing as well was kinda slow at times when it came to characters moving or especially when they’re talking, literally waiting like 2 seconds a lot of times before the next character spoke

NGL I actually really wanted to see more of Sparx/Domino actually being restored instead of M1 ending being when Obsidian is destroyed everything is blinked back to normal in like 3 seconds when it took MONTHS to fix Red Fountain, Alphea and Magix City after the Trix’s attacks

@Will N yeah, that’s cheating because of it being the main character’s world. That doesn’t change the Ancestresses weren’t actually killed in the first movie, so logically it should’ve been the Winx using Enchantix Fairy Dust Convergence to nullify the ice spell on Sparx. It literally says when the Ancient Witches failed to obtain the Dragon Flame, they cast a devastating ice spell on Sparx, making it literally unlivable, not to mention even when the Winx went there it was crawling with ice monsters

@@PeaceandAnarchy actually on the official Winx Club website or I think comics you can read more about different fairies from Alphea, like Francine the joker/Harlequin fairy is the fairy of joking or laughter, or another one is the fairy of love? Or Galatea is actually a music fairy because she’s the princess of Melody. But with Morgana herself we don’t actually get to see her powers aside opening portals, levitating Roxy out of the ice prison to convince her to join her army instead. Geez if anything I thought maybe she’d be a healing fairy or something. I mean even the basic warrior fairies can’t even use magic without their weapons, come on, really? They’re CENTURIES old and are getting their asses kicked by a bunch of 19 year olds?

Early season fights do so much right in making the fights feel weighty and scrappy. That Magix City fight forever plays in my head on loop; I love everything about it _and_ the episode surrounding it. It takes the interpersonal, almost petty high school rivalry between witches and fairies and shows that it's way more dangerous than that. The Trix were always dangerous but them brutalizing the Winx in broad daylight? All because of a slap (or a wart with 4Kids)? Yikes. I was here for all of it but _yikes._ Honestly, I'm still surprised how the writers never had a Musa v. Darcy one-on-one, given how much they tried to pit the two as opposites thanks to their relationships with Riven. It's more so a problem of power creep because, at this point, why would the Winx be struggling against anybody unless they had to fight each other?? But even S4 dodges that by having villains straight up immune to magic. Really, with how prolific the Winx are now in-universe, how are there not more villains coming in with magical precautions for them?

I have 2 favourites to add… The final fight from season 4, which shows the Wizards are still extremely strong and took the WINX plus Nebula just to edge the win against THREE rather weakened Wizards. Also Flora vs Icy in season 5 and 6, where Flora shows her strength against a much stronger Icy and she legit FUCKS SHIT UP and doesn’t even care😭😂❤️

12:31 That is why Anagan is the only black circle wizard I don't hate besides Ogron. At least Anagan has some personality. Gantlos is boring and Duman is so dumb that I genuinely prefer Kalshara (at least Kalshara didn't ruin her own plans, whereas the wizards could've won if Duman wasn't a moron to reveal their plan to the specialists). Also, I love the way S4 takes full advantage of Anagan's speedy abilities in creative ways, like running up a building to send Flora's attack back at her. Cool sh*t here.

Personally Anagan was the most boring and useless to me. At least Gantlos was the most hotheaded and in a way protective of his brothers instead of leaving them to die, like when Anagan almost fell into a crevice in Omega, instead of them saying “Too bad, we have to keep going” Gantlos actually pulled him out, knowing they didn’t have any more powers to protect themselves

@Hope for Aisha He is a villain. That's what a villain does. Cause pain to the heroes for standing in his path. Why he killed Nabu? At this point, he lost any advantage he previously had. The least he could do is killing 1 of the heroes so they will feel pain too.

@Will N 1. Flora never felt to me like a mother figure for the group. She was the she one who grew to become less shy. 2. Flora IS the blandest Winx for me (at least until the later seasons, where Bloom became Ms. Perfect). 3. A lot of things in this show are done without Flora. Whenever she does something, she often does it alone. 4. Gantlos is the black circle wizard with the most lacking personality. He didn't annoy me as much as Duman and his stupid decisions, but he is one of the most forgettable characters in the series. At least I'll remember Tritannus for mutating his family and torturing Daphne, Selina for sneaking beneath The Trix for her own benefits and Brafalious for being a buffoon. Gantlos is merely an extension of Ogron (aka the REAL villain of S4). You could argue all the other wizards are only there to help Ogron, but Anagan has his fun moments with Flora, which made him memorable, and Duman (despite being my 2nd least favourite villain behind Acheron) is memorable because of the few moments his shape-shifting abilities came in handy to trick the heroes. Gantlos is a nothing character. Y'know, after seeing Anagan chat with Flora, I hoped Gantlos will have fun moments with Musa. The 2 could've had a battle of sound waves. I mean, you give a villain a power similar to Musa, and you don't have them tease each other? WHY??????? For crying out loud, this was such a missed potential to have him be a bit more memorable (and would also work well with Musa's conflict in this season by making Riven more jealous). This is just my opinion though so plz don't insult me.

There was an almost decent battle between the Winx and the Trix in season 5 episode 11. While fighting in the gorge, the Winx made use of the surrounding cliffs by slamming the Trix into it. I especially love it when Musa tried to use her "Diapason" tuning fork spell on the rock cliff and bury Darcy under it, but then Darcy turn the attack back on Musa by reappearing behind her and pushing her into those falling rocks. In hindsight, Musa should have been seriously injured during that attack, but then the scene got cut away to the others. I also like how Aisha used her Mystic Wrap spell to wrap this Morphix ribbon around Icy's wrist and slam her into the cliff...hard.

My major lasting memory of this show was how everyone called it a "rip-off of W.I.T.C.H", which was airing at around the same time. Never really had enough interest in either show to investigate that claim though 🤔

I can give a bit of an insight here since I have been a fan of both shows from the moment they came out. W.i.t.c.h. was actually a comic book/graphic novel series before it was made into a TV show. The show aired its first episode in December 2004 whereas Winx Club began airing in January 2004. The reason why people said Winx Club was a rip-off (and sometimes even more childish version) of W.i.t.c.h. was because the graphic novel's first issue came out in 2001, so about three years before Winx Club aired the first episode. The thing though is that Iginio Straffi, the creator of Winx Club, actually came up with the idea of a cartoon about fairies back in the 90s and the pilot episode for Winx Club (known as "Magical Bloom" back then) was actually aired for test audiences in 1999 or even 1998 if I recall. For some reason (probably Iginio not being satisfied with the show), the show was put back in development and it was worked on for at least *four to five* more years before it made its official debut. With W.i.t.c.h. though, it's a bit harder to pinpoint the exact time it was developed before the first issue was published. And if you think about it, the story isn't really that much similar other than the fact that it's about five (later six for Winx) girls who have magic powers and both groups have a red-haired protagonist. I think the only reason people went up in arms about Winx Club allegedly ripping W.i.t.c.h. off was because Bloom and Will are somewhat similar characters but, honestly, I believe that is just a coincidence. Also, my personal opinion is that, had Winx Club really ripped W.i.t.c.h. off, they would have been sued. W.i.t.c.h. was owned by Disney and I really don't believe that Disney would have passed on the opportunity to sue and make money off of a company that would have stolen their ideas, had that truly been the case. But, as far as I know, a lawsuit never existed. p.s. Sorry for the whole novel of an explanation

@@floraflowers When it comes to the whole Winx and W.I.T.C.H. comparison it's funny how Cornelia in the W.I.T.C.H. TV show behaves more like Stella than the Cornelia from the W.I.T.C.H. comics. Didn't know that Iginio Straffi came up with the Winx idea back in the 90s. He most likely watched Sailor Moon back in the 90s and that served as an inspiration for him to create Winx. Sailor Moon show was an inspiration for pretty much all magical girl shows as they all take Sailor Moon's formula with girls changing clothes, being in teams who fight against villains who happen to be evil dark lords etc. Nah Will and Bloom are nothing alike, their only similarity is the hair color. Will was a flawed and interesting character in both the W.I.T.C.H. comics and the TV show, Bloom is a bland Mary Sue.

The music in the intro really hammers in how serious the situation is as this is truly Alphea’s last chance to stop the Trix from basically taking over the universe. The I just don’t get the same intensity from Rai Icy and Bloom. I mean geez Icy even says “You’re gonna wish you never survived the destruction of Sparx!” Liza Ortiz definitely made Icy sound like she was actually determined to kill Bloom 2. Bloom’s Dragon Flame reveals itself. The episode Musa is ganged on by an entire classroom of witches, nearly all the Winx are knocked out easily except Musa and Stella, and I LOVE how Bloom snarled at Stormy “No she isn’t! Get out of my way!!” And then basically became a mini bomb knocking the Trix out of the sky. 3. Army of Decay scenes. Do I need to explain? This is an awesome example of the Winx getting more new spells without Bloom and kicking butt, especially Musa 4. Musa vs Stormy, did you know Musa is the only Winx to be able to take out a Trix by herself aside Bloom? Both battles are so awesome showing how powerful she truly is, Musa is either the 2nd or 3rd most powerful Winx, fight me 5. S3 Baltor’s witch army attacks Alphea, I really love the parts with Stella and Leila giving their new Enchantix powers a test drive 6. Final battle between the Wizards of the Black Circle and Winx, Roxy and Nebula. Though its not that “epic” of a fight, it was still surprising how much magic the Wizards had left considering they weren’t supposed to have any more powers. It was still cool to see Nebula realize she couldn’t beat them on her own. 7. S4 when Roxy got her wings, and the Winx split up to keep the Wizards from finding her. Their individual battles were pretty interesting, especially with Duman failing twice to trick them by shapeshifting into their friends 8. S3 Enchantix vs DisEnchantix- while sadly DisEnchantix was criminally underused with how sexy and badass the Trix looked (even better than Bloom’s Enchantix sorry) the part with the Winx using Enchantix Fairy Dust Convergence was pretty awesome 9. S5 Battle at the Pillar of Light. As much as the selkies were annoying, I actually kinda enjoyed this battle with the Winx using shields instead of basic blasting and shooting. 10. Battle in the Gorge S5- With Harmonix the Winx actually clobber the Trix pretty easily even without Bloom, especially with Leila using Morphix ribbon to whip Icy into the cliffside As much as I really wanted to put a battle against Baltor, I just can’t think of any where the Winx except Bloom didn’t get the wind knocked out of them. I’d say either the battle where he used the elements spell to create evil copies of their boyfriends for them to fight, though it would’ve been waay more intense if he actually used the specialists themselves and had a powerful manipulation spell on them like puppets infused with basic elemental powers. My other favorite is when they go under Lake Rockaluche, he snatches the Water Stars with an ancient charm that was actually used to seal the stars away, but they don’t give up despite Bloom kept getting magically gut punched to break his spell on the Agador Box to free the extremely powerful realm spells trapped in it. Also Bloom vs Nebula had so much potential considering Nebula is probably the second most powerful fairy behind Aurora. I would’ve KILLED to see Nebula give Bloom literal hell this one time, that she isn’t little miss smug and confident, but is actually worried about losing because of the deal she made. Also why didn’t Bloom snap at her saying “I know what its like to have my world destroyed and my family actually killed. I had to grow up on Earth without magic for a long time, and I didn’t even know if my parents were actually alive or not.” Also why the h*ll didn’t we get a battle with Flora and Diana?! I chose not to include the movies, Hogan’s robot fight was cool I guess, but not my favorite. I actually kinda forgot about Good Girls Bad Girls, though I still vote Rainbow stole 4Kids Mean Girls which absolutely rocked and made the Trix cool as powercrazed psychobitches. My only problem is I REALLY hated Believix was used instead considering Enchantix originally was going to be used because it takes place before Earth mission and Roxy, but oh course gotta sell more toys. Like when the Trix reveal themselves, no one is even questioning about how they got out of Lightrock Fortress, instead Stella’s like “Be prepared to get publicly humiliated with our downgraded powers and waay less awesome new form Believix”

@@kingraplhmativo5178 never reflected in the show though which is disappointing, nature being a source of power can provide so many avenues for creative spells but she just uses different variations of the same vine spell a good 8 times out of 10 and then the target breaks out of it within 10 seconds. Not to mention her collapsing all the time in pain due to being connected to the plants' feelings and emotions which is beyond repetitive and when that doesn't happen she just gets smacked down, there's a literal compilation on the 81 times she almost dies because she's unable to dodge simple spells. Within the fictional canon purely based off the events of the series, Tecna despite being marketed as one of the weaker fairies comes out on top due to her enchantix plot line (both in earning it and subsequently surviving the omega dimension which the other girls were barely able to do and they were there for a significantly shorter period of time) and her consistency in contributions within battles across seasons. Stella as well has a lot of moments to shine as well as Aisha although nick entirely sacrificed Aisha's strength in favour of hyping up Bloom in S5. I know Flora is a fan favorite but rewatching the show you just see how dirty she's done as the seasons progress, she's rendered useless all the time and it's painful to watch. Idk if you've watched W.I.T.C.H but Cornelia is a much better example of how nature/earth magic can be done well.

@Will N with all due respect, this analogy feels incredibly redundant as the attributes you have assigned have no bearing on the characters in the show, at the end of the day the characters aren't written with that much attention especially as the seasons progress which is unfortunate but accurate. The winx as individuals can and have been marketed in a number of ways and it's very clear that the order you've stated (omitting Roxy and Daphne) is the one the producers try and assert but as with most things in winx, there is absolutely no consistency. Tecna admittedly has probably the least screentime besides maybe Musa as a whole but she has the most moments of individual impact which display that she doesn't necessarily need the other five to function and use her powers effectively such as Season 3 episodes 3,13 and 17, Season 5 episode 21 and a number more. Hence me saying she's the powerful as she is able to do things the other winx simply cannot including Bloom, which goes to show whilst the order you have stated is the one intended it isn't reflected in the writing of the show. It's a simple case of winx disregarding the premise of 'show don't tell'. Bloom can be given all the opportunities to blast an enemy to victory but the other girls are also able to do that (when given the chance). Meaning when the other girls are physically unable to resolve situations such as the omega portal, it's clarifies that Tecna can do something the rest cannot therefore my conclusion of her being the strongest within the context of the show makes sense. If you ask me based off of ability and moments of impact the order would be as follows : Tecna, Stella, Bloom, Aisha, Musa then Flora. Moral of the story screentime/focal point for villains doesn't mean a thing if it's not reflected in the writing which is meant carry the show.

@Will N this is my issue though, it wasn't never a plot point. The show never purposefully put them against each other in a way that would demand an audience expectation on the order of power this is purely from an observational standpoint as like i'm saying intention ≠ output. Especially in s2 and s3, if you made that argument for s5 onwards I would be more inclined to agree as the show clearly sacrifices any coherency for Bloom and it's lacklustre. In season 3 especially, Tecna outdid them powerwise (Bloom and Aisha who was an enchantix fairy at the time couldn't even get in close proximity to the omega portal but Tecna managed to enter and close it no problem, and then the other girls are barely able to survive a few hours in that dimension but Tecna could last the entirety of Bloom's time on Pyros not mention her moment in ep23)??? I really wouldn't use that as an example as that is where Tecna excels. As for the movies ... the opening sequence literally has Flora on the ground groaning in pain as per usual and Aisha also having issues so that doesn't feel compelling as an arguement either. With saying Aisha having to go back to shadowhaunt multiple times ... so does Tecna with the Omega dimension in s4 ironically. As for the friendships, I know Musa and Aisha have a close friendship in terms of how Aisha is intergrated into the group but the canon friendships are Bloom/Stella, Flora/Aisha, Musa/Tecna which the later seasons tend to emphasize but it's still there from end of s2 into s3. Finally for the last part when you mention physicality, once again most opportunities/screentime doesn't mean a thing if it has no bearing or impact and even then the other girls do have a ton of moments when they get physical. If i'm using Tecna her moment in s3 episode 23 and s4 episode 25 or season 5 episode 25 you don't see her shy away from brute force.

The #4 Fighting is something else, the girls broke walls, blew up a car with Stella behind, Flora hit by Stormy but still full even passed out, my god! The first season has the best fights, not to mention the final battle for alfea was absolutely amazing!! Bloom creating a fire dragon to destroy Icy's Iceberg was perfect! I love Icy's battle against Bloom in the 4 kids version in the third episode from season 1 I like the winx club using their charmix against lord darkar. I love Musa using her music against Stormy.and I also like the winx using their enchanix powers against the trix and using the believix powers against the wizards and I even liked the dance battle that the winx had against the trix in season 8.

I LOVED 4Kids Icy vs Bloom and especially with the final battle against Lord Darkar considering 4Kids made a really smart move with making a new song for Charmix, making it a more upbeat version and each fairy has her own track/part, put it together and they are one, just like convergence!

They could have handled Season 3's final fight better than what we got especially given that Enchantix was (still IS in my opinion) considered the final tranformation. So the winx were at their peaks of power and even Valtor considered it a challenge to fight against them.

i really liked the season 4 E13 fight, it had nice stakes with a great conclusions, along the reappearance of laser cage and the winx either splitting up in groups against the wizards on the opposite spectrum Season 5 Episode 6 may have the worst battle to date, it‘s really bad.
