I like how more writers are exploring the concept of light being the enemy. It's a concept that was sort of introduced in Bayonetta and really shone in Final Fantasy XIV. In this rewrite, specifically, I'm imagining Acheron as an evangelical Christofascist whereas the other paladins are like the moderate religious people who respect others and use the light as a guide to be good people.

I relate to Stella so much ethnicity wise. The dynamic between her solarian side and lunar side is just like the relationship with my tribes. One is dominant and the other is hidden away and I know almost nothing about it. And I don't like thinking about it since the dominant group sold the other into slavery and it fucks with my sense of identity. I'm both, I can't pick sides.

Seeing the history of Solaria and Selenia is giving me heavy Bayonetta vibes. Because the Umbra Witches (Who represent the Moon and Darkness) were exterminated by the Angels who manipulated the Lumen Sages (both groups representing the Sun and Light) and humans to do it. Just like how Selenia's been wiped off the map, The Umbra Witches' numbers have been reduced to 2, (3 if you count Viola from Bayo 3) Also, I like how you're exploring the concept of Light/The Sun not always being good and Darkness/The Moon not always being evil. They're just two sources of power to be used by people with good or evil intentions.

I think what would be interesting if Luna was a living descendant of the Selenian royal blood line of Hecate, despite being the Fairy of the Moon, but isn't recognized as one, officially anyway. The royal match maker informed The Solarian royal family that a child born of both royal bloodlines of the Sun and Moon would bring great promise to Solaria, though not in the way they think. Hated the idea but accepted it if it means bringing greatness to the Kingdom. But Radius and Luna before used to sneak around in their youth and deeply falling in love with each other, star-crossed lovers trope. Once it was revealed that Radius and Luna were to be married they were thrilled but the Solarian Royal family made her life a living hell and unfortunately because of his upbringing Radius too adapted this behavior and try to limit the time between her and Stella as much as possible when she displayed Lunar magic at a very early age.

For those who don't know: Queen Hecate in this episode is based off of Hecate (Heck-a-tea) Greek Underworld Goddess of Magic and Witchcraft. She's also in the Owl House as the villain of the Good Witch Azura books in that show. One of her popular depictions is a tall woman with three faces.

I'm glad that Stella has more time to talk to her mom in the rewrite. In the show it seems like Stella barely gets a chance to talk to her family because Luna and Radius are always fighting. Also I love that place you mentioned it looks cool and pretty. It's like a cool hideout for Stella. And it's good that Stella gets to use moon magic since she always uses her sun magic instead.

Man, this one was heavy. I loved it. Like I said in the last video, you have a talent for making me so much more invested in this story than in anything Winx has released since season 3. Also, I adore that you put focus on the idea that someone could romantically love a friend but have it not reciprocated, and portray realistically how that would effect the relationship. That sounds ridiculous, but it seems so rare. Bravo.

One thing I will stand by. Acheron as an evil light user is bloody brilliant. Evil Dark Magic users are a dime a dozen in the franchise so an evil light wielder is a good twist, but it also makes a point. Most terrible crimes are done by people so utterly convinced of their virtue that they can justify anything they do no matter how terrible. It's like Frollo in Hunchback of Notre Dame. He's realistic because he's basically a self righteous fanatic. You won't meet Maleficent. You WILL meet Frollo

This episode resonates with me as my mother kept her history and culture from us as irrelevant yet so often it seems I get asked about my culture by people trying to get to know me and I can only answer that I am removed from it such that my knowledge is equal to or less than a tourist. It bothers me, this lack of a bond or sense of continuity to the story of the world yet I don't know how to force myself to be part of the world without the attempt likely to cause negative consequences on my psyche.

I personally was ok with the season 6 episode where Stella had the mirror and had to chase after Darcy but I personally prefer an earlier episode in season 6 called A Shimmer In The Shadows with the vampires and how Stella's obsession with the fashion show allowed her to not get kidnapped and thus making her save the day.

Lovely as always ! (Though I don't know how I missed the fact that you uploaded because normally my phone gives me a notification) I don't have a ton of specific thoughts on this episode, but it's probably one of my favorites just because of how well-rounded it is from a world building and storytelling perspective. It blows my mind that were only on episode 14 because of how much jail you fit into every episode. If this was a normal season it would have been over already 🤣 in particular, there was two things that I really liked about this episode 1 The fact that the last leader of Solenia was a witch and fought to keep her kingdom, safe. It always felt to me that even the original show implied that fairies and their allies were the only ones who created and you real progress in the magical universe and I'm glad to see that The status quo is broken here. 2 that you worked Stella having two fairy titles into the lord, especially that it came from Radius's view for her as opposed to her own. I also had some additional thoughts not to directly containing to the episodes (mostly) but things I would still like to share. Firstly, I understand that it is somewhat the point (to rewrite the show to the highest standard that it was in seasons 1 through 3) but thank you so much for not making Bloom the entire focal point of the show! Lastly, I would like to talk about some things that I would like to see in the future. PLEASE do not interpret this as me.trying to pressure you and giving you hate/ spamming every video until you do because I've heard other KZbinrs talk about it and it just seems obnoxious and it is literally the furthest possible thing from my intention. Rather, these are just videos that I would be very excited to see as well as being somewhat likely to happen based on things you said before. funnily enough they all have to do with your rewrites. You've said in the past that you wouldn't actually do revites for the first three seasons because they're good enough as is (and I agree) with that being said, I would be interested to see if they're were things about those seasons that you would actually change even if you didn't know exactly how and put them in a video. This way you wouldn't have to worry about a full-on rewrite, but we could still see your really cool ideas 😁 I would also like to see one for seasons four and eight. For season 4 because you said that as much as you like it and there are problems that you didn't see before and because I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but you're kind of working backwards and introducing new lore (both your own and bad from newer seasons) into your rewrites. Will season 8. It's simply because I thought it's plaid has always been super disconnected from the rest of the series and I would like to see how you would go about tackling that. With all that said, keep up the great work! 😀

Omg the idea of acheron seeing the lighy of solaria as like the True ultimate power of the magical dimension is galaxu brain energy. I mean, it makes sense - in most fictiinal universes, the chosen one/lost princess/etc usually has light powers of some sort. In the grishaverse, you've got alina, and in W.I.T.C.H. you have Elinor, the light of meridian (off the top of my head). Obvi the dragon flame is still That Bitch but yeah it's food for thought

The Witch fanfic ripples had some interesting ideas. Basically the first Queen Escannor was willing to do a LOT of dicey things (she helped Augustus in exchange for being given political prisoners and the other dregs of roman society, which she promptly turned into the first changelings). Queen Wiera (Phobos' mom) was a lot more progressive and planned to make society truly equal (one of the things she wanted to do was grant the Changeling rights AND reveal the truth of their origins), while Weira's mom (Allora) was more of a reactionary.

One of your best couple of episode so far, you practically took a joke about how Stella forgot about her lunar powers and made a whole plot about the moon powers and the culture around that! Besides, Selina is a name based on Selena, a moon goodess, really clever ;) Same what you are doing with the """bloom bashing""" in this rewriting, because it is not bashing if those criticism are used to make the character see the wrong in them and makes them grown up as people, and I LOVE the journey Bloom is going into ❤❤❤ PS can't take it to myself anymore, I think that in the next episodes Bloom will try to gave Roxy the piece of the dragon flame that she initially refused to gave the girl, and Roxy will refuse almost in panic, remembering how the Winx (and expecially Bloom) forced her to be a fairy, practically never listening to her reasoning and her fears about magic. I am sure that the Winx now, forced into a mission to protect the universe, in their pov, just after going the first day on Alfea, will totally understand Roxy. And for Bloom it would be another BIG cold shower....

I love how the villians this time around havew a connection to other wins then just bloom this time around. But then again, the former three big bads being so focused on her might be why she so self centred these rewrites, hm. Also foreshadowing for Selena becoming a witch? I feel conflicted about Bloom admitting her feelings to stella - not a critic on the writing but bloom as a character but it might just show how self centered she had become over the years. LIke, that she left the room - what, answer did she expect? She knows Stella is a committed relationship, and deeply in love with Brandon. I get the situation si awkward but I feel like she should expect the answer Stella just sees her as a friend. Again critic on bllom not the writing itself. Cause this idea is cute and a nice wink at the fanbase that is shipping them Stella and Bloom really need one long talk once her memories are back. More so then the rest. Maybe those two can bound over the fact the were unaware of one side of their culture? Bloom can at least to some degree related to Stella's lose and maybe even struggle? Don't think bloom knows much about Domino sculture (yet) either.

Bloom was never that self centred though; even her attempted mentoring of Roxy came from seeing similarities and realizing that someone who had to adapt might be the best option. Flora and Musa would be utterly useless because they grew uo with magic and can't connect to never having it.

I think the next rewrite should be season 4 as it was acceptable at most IMO. It would benefit from a rewrite and having it tie in to season 5 & 6 rewrite would be interest, and feel like a natural evolution from Season 1-3 & The first movie. Season 7 is just boring imo.

I can see Stella's story being a biracial allegory. Idk as a biracial person who had a good chunk of their culture repressed because of a racist parent (who also has divorced parents coincidently), some of this hit home T-T Really good writing all around
