This series is dedicated to trying and discussing how to approach mountain bike parks, systems and features on a unicycle.
I'm not the most advanced mountain unicyclist out there (that's for SURE), but I think I can offer some feedback on how to approach features made specifically for mountain bikes while unicycling.
Come along on this prolonged adventure with me to hopefully get some insight on certain trail systems and features while inevitably seeing me fall - oftentimes hard.

Never seen a unicycle on the trails that I run, but I did see some dude riding the trail without the front wheel and a GoPro attached! I was awestruck. What was your athletic background prior to this?

That's super impressive! I love that. Crazy manual skills. Maybe you could be the first one-wheeler on your trails?? 😁 I did the decathlon in college (I love track and field) and have lifted and biked ever since high school.

@@HoboDan Decathlon? At school? You are clearly a gifted athlete. Is trail unicycling something that the average joe could do - or do they need some sort of strength/balance/endurance/skill base to build on top of?

@@ryanprasad2090 I'd stop short of saying I'm a gifted athlete. I did decathlon because I was mediocre in a lot of things 😅. Trail unicycling is something that the average joe could do, definitely. It just takes practice, like anything. I'd definitely encourage you to give it a try if you're interested regardless of if you think you are "fit" for it. I can almost guarantee that you'd be able to pull it off with some practice. You just need to be okay with sucking at something for a while. I actually made a video on excuses for unicycling - its definitely more approachable than people think kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJfPiHhvfrqrbtk
