Uniden BC125AT Scanner Unboxing, Programming, and Demonstration!

I recently purchased the 125AT mainly for the military air band 225.00-380.000. The radio is hooked up to a roof mounted discone antenna which receives very well. I rarely use the rubber duck antenna unless I'm chasing planes at the local airport. I now have both the 125AT and the SR30C in my shack. The SR20C is crammed full of various public service frequencies while the 125 is for aviation comms only.

I made the same exact mistake ordering the antenna... didn't notice the S in SRH77CA meant a completely different type of connector so now I'm waiting for the correct one to arrive lol

I bought a whole new antenna. I had bought the wrong one which is what you saw in the video and it was made for another attachment type. The RH77CA is what I bought afterwards and that was the right one and it requires no adapter.
