The Unifi network is not detecting my Unifi USW 16 POE switch. How do I detect the switch? I have tried factory resetting the switch but I cannot detect it. Is there another way to configure the switch?

Temporarily disable the firewall in case you're running it in windows or PC. If it is not, then try installing it in a PC, turn FW off and check if it is available for adoption. This rules out problems with the console. Also check what IP is your DHCP giving to the switch, and ping it.

Hello Theepan you are right, we were not careful enough with beginners, and did not specify the devices you can run the Network Application from. Please watch the video of the UDM PRO, device from which you will be very satisfied using. It is an extraordinary Netowork controller, so adding new devices to your network, will be done in no time no passwords needed, nor access directly to the devices. Thanks for your help making us create better videos.
