Unified MPLS L3 VPN and L2 VPN Breakdown

First of all, thank you for your efforts; i found a lot of your work truly useful in learning SP. I came a bit late to the party, but here is my take on the subject: i've been labbing this one and changed the access parts from is-is to ospf and in worked (i mean totally different ospf instances from the core one, while redistributing just the access ASBR's lo0 into the core ospf): i've got the 3 labels stack while tracerouting. Most likely, if you used the same OSFP from the core, with multiple areas, you got a single IGP domain and therefore the LSP formed directly from R1 to R3. That defeated the purpose of unified MPLS because you got the classic 2 label L3VPN. Cheers

No problem. I make time..... i have to test stuff out before I go for it anymore. Simply watching a video or thinking I understand it without having tested it out before doesn't work. Just wait until the CCNP SP workbooks and videos are done....

Good video, you do have a problem with your teaching technique though. You digress. For example if I said to you "You have a problem with your technique, and I live in Katmandu, with a dog name spot, and my mom dresses me funny...., and like a I said you have a problem and I am now going to tell you wha that problem is..." You see how frustrating that is to listen to. I had to fast forward thru your video to get to the point.

Sorry i dont. I gave an example of core scaling and where umpls could come into play. Not really sure where it is that i digressed.
