This video tutorial highlights the uniform meshing technique using hexa elements in Ansys.
In general, Hexahedral / Quadrilateral higher order elements are often preferred due to their nodal superiority which yields more accurate solutions than tetrahedral elements.
Structured & Uniform meshing algorithms are used in components to produce more approximate results in the areas of consideration. Structured mesh helps in linear transformation of FEM information to the neighboring elements thereby minimizing the geometrical errors for convergence.
This video helps in understanding the process involved in creating a 3 - dimensional uniform (or) mapped hexahedral elements on a Non - Sweepable assembly model.
